Sense and Sensuality ("Loving" Spinny)

This thread has really helped me, Ladies. Moving helped, but so did all of the tips here. You honestly cannot tell me I'm not the stuff. LOL! It's amazing how much easier it is to be feminine and attractive in every way. I want to the laundry the other day, and instead of throwing on jeans, I rocked a very basic stretchy pencil-like skirt, a fitted tee with a touch of rouching around the neckline and slippers (aka flip flops). I tossed on my favorite panama hat and rolled out. It took me all of 5 minutes to get read and I still looked cute. I got a few looks from two men and a lesbian.

It's amazing how simple changes can affect your life.

Super excited! I have been on a roll lately! I read in another thread where Barbie said something about standing out and being exceptional among other ladies. I have been more confident to stand out even if I am the only dressed up girl in the room, lol. It can feel awkward with the stares and all, but who knows, maybe I can inspire someone.

I went to a birthday party last night and wore what I thought complimented my body very well. I wanted Dh to feel as if he was the luckiest man in the party and I think I have achieved that:grin:. Tonight is another rooftop dinner party and again, I desire to be confident, out of my head and into my body. I am putting into practice what I have been learning with you gals.:)

Hey ladies :)

I am moving sept 15th and already planning my new bedroom. I plan to have it like an ultra feminine sanctuary. I was looking at beds earlier and it's so funny how I've just developed a knack for reading the "gender" of a piece of furniture. I need soft curvy lines not severe straight edges.

And it's so funny, I just read a book on feng shui that stated chi or energy travels best along curved paths, it slows the energy down so it can leave a positive impact vs. straight lines that have it just zipping along. Fascinating stuff, feng shui. I will post more as I read on about ying and yang and how to balance masculine and feminine energies in a room.

Rocky91 I did something with my bedroom. Then I want ahead and redecorated my entire apartment with more of a feminine modern style. I even hung zebra print curtains in my living room.

Please do! I need to re-do my bedroom. My furniture is a bit more masculine than it seemed in the store, so I need to balance it out. I already have some great curtains, but I'm always curious about other tips. Esp ones that will make things seem softer and more ...airy

Just read the last few pages  since i've been MIA so bear with me :look:

I bought all my dresses stretch material, nothing maternity:look:
Keep you hair make up and hair done.
If you don't wear make up, make sure you wear earrings it will add sparkle to your face.
And have sex with your Dh a lot it will keep you feeling sexy during your pregnancy.
@SophieDulce - took notes of all of this...I feel like if I start now then I will naturally keep it up if I ever get pregnant lol TIA

I wore a short, super colorful jumper to an outdoor bar last night and got so many compliments!
I want to get into lapis jewelry.
@CarLiTa- where are the pics?! lol My mom is into jewelry and frankly she is uber feminine woman I guess its time to go through her stuff again lol

I have been having more ladies nights out. My criteria for hanging out with them is that we all must be in dresses and heels. I love it! Doing this just makes us all look and act feminine as a group:yep:
RegaLady - i love this idea!!!!

So i too am letting men do more stuff for me...and for once in my life I dont feel guilty about it :yep: I brought 4 dresses yesterday!! And they werent they really tight herve dresses either lol I thought of you guys and I hope i get an approval...plan on taking pics for this thread

@ladysaraii- my pm has been sent:grin:

I went out with a friend yesterday and she commented that I'm more feminine now.

I was like YES!!! THANK YOU JESUS!!!

I just spent the morning at the spa then spent about $1,000 on new, more girly/feminine clothes because I'm sick if feeling frumpy. I really need to embrace my femininity more because I get so many compliments when I dress up.

I have gone back to reading so that I can brainwash myself again, lol. I have been reading The TAO of Dating: The Smart Woman's Guide to Being Absolutely Irresistible" by Ali Binazir M.D. It may be for single women, but really any woman who wants to improve herself can read this book. Excellent book!

I like what he says about getting rid of anything that doesn't make you happy and at peace within yourself. What you focus on increases. So focus on the right things. I have been focusing more on being that woman, that wife, and that mother. I am looking for mental images of what I aspire to be. I set aside time to visualize what I want to be. Its wonderful!

Dh told me that he is loving the fact that I am wearing more dresses, lol. He said I even act more feminine since I have been wearing more of them. I have limited the amount of pants I wear. I want to get more sweater dresses for fall now.

Thanks for the book recommendation.

I would like to add "Men Like Women Who Like Themselves" to the list. I found it recommended on an old thread and read it in one night. Reminded me a bit of WMLB, but good and succinct. The only thing I didnt agree with was the idea that maybe you should consider paying your way on the first date to be on equal footing, but other than that I liked it. Oh and they are a little anti traditional gender roles, but not so much that it would be a problem for those that believe in them.

After a busy night at work, my hair in a messy pinup, and me feeling like a hot, sweaty messy....
My coworker came in this AM and told me I was gorgeous and always look gorgeous after working all night. She said I always look like I am coming to work, instead of leaving.

Awww, it was a nice pick me up...

Hey ladies Just wanted to show that I am taking ya'll advice and tips...including my mothers lol She is one of the most feminine woman I know and I'm grateful I have her to guide me Heres a pic of us from Sat nights wedding

Any tips for me....i brought a few dresses to take with me....going to look for comfortable heels/shoes to wear since i'll be walking alot and I plan on smiling a lot more

TIA

Dresses and heels are great starters!! I just got through reading a book that was wonderful! It said that whatever you wear be comfortable in it and most of all be CONFIDENT. I also read to make sure you wear something that brings out your feminine energy. All dresses don't bring that energy out, so pick one that is "you" and that you feel most "alive" in.

Wear great undergarments, and shoes that you can walk great in and be comfortable. Walk with your lower half:grin: Yadda, yadda yadda, lol. YOu know the rest. But most of all HAVE FUN!!! We women need to work on having fun and being in the moment! Be out of your head and into your body.

RegaLady - thank you again!

I have great undergarments...i dont know if they are appropriate tho:look: lol Can you pm or put in here but am I the only one confused about walking in lower half means....i'm sure it also has something to do with being out my head and in my body...something else i dont think i'm doing right....arrrggghhh I love having 6 brothers but seriously I should've spent less time being a tomboy!!:nono:

So I touched myself last night and I LOVED it. I don't mean touch in a sexual way either. I read somewhere that placing your feet on a wall is good for your circulation. So last night I was on my bed, with my feet up on the wall, listening to Teal Scott (I love her!) on YT. I massaged my thighs. Belly. Blessed my skin. Admired how soft it felt even with the stubble (my man is away), LOL! I clapped my hands over and over as one of the forum members said many Chinese people do this during the day and just absorbed the video I was listening to. It was great!

When I finally took my feet off the wall, I massaged my toes, the spaces in between and worked my way up to my hips. It was nice. I don't know why I did this but it was one of the best parts of my night. I felt so serene and slept well until the morning. I will try to do this a few nights a week along with my breaths of fire.

Figured I would share.

OMG yess! I have been doing something like this recently to get in touch with my sensual side. Like at random times during the day, I stop and touch various parts of my body, just to get a sense of what I feel like. Like when I wash my face, I slow down and feel every curve of my face, etc. I wear dresses, so I also started paying attention to what the fabric of my dress feels like on my body.

I am also stopping to smell things around me. I stop and guess what I smell, get an idea of what it is, where it is coming from, what it smells like, etc.

I will use your idea as well. Can you explain the hand clapping thing done by the Chinese?

RegaLady, WOW you too?!!! This is great!!! I was a little nervous to post that I touch myself in the dark listening to LOA on YT. I already can't wait for bed tonight! I actually remembered to tell my dad about the hand clapping and walking backwards this morning and he was intrigued. I got him drinking green smoothies and he is often receptive on learning health tips and tricks. Let me go find a link.

Well someone asked me to be his muse today. He said he was drawn to my energy.

Apparently he just wants to kind of fund the further development of my beauty and upkeep so that he can be inspired by me and my beauty/energy. :look:

Sort of creepy and weird, but still very flattering?

I'm happy because that's exactly what I've been working on. My work persona was starting to bleed into my love life and it was messing up my relationships. I've been did some research and self-analysis and I tried to just change my mindset and my overall vibe. I think its working. So yay for me!

I'm not going to pursue this whole thing with him, because even though it would be flattering to be somebody's muse, I imagine that there is some sort of time commitment/obligation involved? I don't have time to be somebody's muse. I don't even know how to be somebody's muse.

Even though this sounds all innocent, I'm getting a "sugar-daddy" vibe from all of that.

I don't feel very feminine at the moment. It comes and goes. I can't feel it when my insides aren't right... I'm doing some cleansing by eating a lot of sautéed veggies. I've just arrived in Nairobi and have been here 2 days. My roommate and I are heading to a free 2-hour yoga class, and I can't wait. I love being part of community classes and will miss my Haitian dance class in Boston terribly. The vibe in that room, all these happy and joyous women and babies, it's the BEST thing.

I like Lucie's post. I want to massage too! I'll try it tonight. Grapeseed oil should be good, no? After sitting for so long on the airplane, my lower body is achy. Yesterday, I walked 50 minutes in the city and my legs were tingling a lot. They needed it.
