Well that is the thing. I don't see any attacks going on. No one is on here calling her snaggle toofed, talkin' about her mama, saying she should go to he((, or wishing her the worst life ever. All I see is...some people are impressed by her hair, some are not impressed, some don't think it looks good for a number of legit reasons that they didn't make up and aren't pulling out of their ____. What, would you rather people lie about how they feel in order to appease others?

For the record, I think her hair looks fine, but I can understand some of the critiques. I don't see any tearing down.

Seems as if most of the negative comments are from those with natural hair and LHCF members. Such nasty, catty, negative behavior from LHCF members is disappointing.

Why are so many people doing minute by minute view-bys if her hair is so mediocre? Stop watching her channel if her hair and methods are so uninspiring to you.

Instead start your own YT channel so we can offer you the same support you are offering.

In all due respect, Spring, I wasn't referring to you. I was referring to some of the "hot under the collar" posts by a couple of "newbies" in this thread. IMO, I honestly don't think KT real cares what any of us think anyway...

I don't typically watch her videos...but its nice to see her hair growth. But the flat iron was not that great...its looks like how my hair would look after I sweat the roots out at the gym...and it doesn't have much swang...

i'm not upset at all about this for the record. i don't care whether you like her hair or not... i was just responding to some of the comments that have been made and giving my perspective.

i was more reffering to the claims that she hyped up her flat ironing and the hypocrisy of saying that ppl were trying to shut ppl up by calling them haters. the only reference i made to her hair was about her ends.

Well IMO there is a HUGE difference between talking about someone IN the thread and discussing it amongst your "peers." Like Platinum said, I truly don't think Kim cares about us or what we think. It's like if you go see a movie and you hate it, you're going to tell your friends how much you hate it, but you aren't going to write a letter to the cast.

IMO, unless done by a professional, the first flat ironing on virgin 4 type hair usually does not easily take. That's why back in the day you worked up to a "proper" straightening. After the hair is some what trained, it will straighten more readily. I'm glad she didn't overdo and loose her good progress on a whim. Spoken from experience.

Her length, body and retention is great. Some people pay WAY too much attention to this lady, her hair and her attitude. Just odd.

Why are we focused on her attitude? It's her hair and hair tips that should interest us. I think a lot of people use the excuse of her attitude to say mean things and try to justify it by calling her Kimmaytude. I'm not aiming this at you, but it is just something that I've noticed and I find it sad. We should be happy for her and build her up, not tear her down. We should support all of the ladies trying to share their knowledge.

I don't like her attitude(I should be able to say so without backlash...it's my opinion), I'm not impressed with her hair in it's natural state(it looks dry). It's great that she has found a way to retain all of her length...for that I'm impressed. Her hair flat ironed looks ok, nothing to get all excited over. Am I a hater, no. I'm tired of her saying that her customers are her primary focus, well sista girl, without the yt people your business would not be where it is now. Yt is her customer base and should be treated accordingly. But that's my opinion.

I think there are 2 extremes going on. If you don't think her hair is fabulous you must be a hater ... and the other ... if you state "why the putting down of another individual" you must be a stan.

What is interesting is that no one is responding to the issue raised about the double standard. We have seen these results here, but what is hypocritical are the insults because someone didn't style their hair a certain way.
