I need to pick flowers, my shoes, officiant, wedding license, card box, seating chart, pick out a hairstyle (the hardest part for me) and so much more crap I haven't even thought about.

My dress lady emailed me with a quote that was $300 more than she originally quoted me. :nono: so now I either gotta find another dress that can get done in time or suck it up and pay the extra.. Im so friggin annoyed. Did NOT need this setback right now, at ALL.

Actually she had the wrong dress. :rolleyes: She thought I wanted this elaborate dress with all this beading, etc, when my dress is just a simple lace dress with a split up the middle lol. So once we figured out that we were talking about two different dresses, the price went back to what she originally quoted me and we're back in business. :yay: I go see her this Sat for my measurements and to see if Im still happy with my choice, etc. Exciting times!!

We got our wedding bands this past weekend. :love: It was so cute seeing him try on his ring... like it was weird lol but very nice. I love my band, it's a simple contour micro pave but it matches my engagement ring nicely and looks good. I started to go for the BLING but it's not my style so I went with something simpler. He just got a plain band which is what he wanted (which was good and cheap :look: :lol: ).

Just left Joann's to grab some wedding supplies.

Picked up some Mod Podge, spray paint, glitter and sealant for my glitter hanger and the bms glitter hanger. All I need now is run to ikea to grab the wooden hangers and a pants hanger for flower girls dresses. Going to knock out these hangers this week.

I also picked up the tulle to make my flower dress. I refuse to pay 80-100 dollars for a tulle dress that is just tied on some elastic. The supplies only cost me about 15 bucks and will take 2-3 hours of my time. I just need measure my flower girl tomorrow. I really didn't even want a flower girl but I fell in love with this dress and I need someone to wear it! lol

Tonight I will be addressing invites. Goal is to get them out by Wednesday at the latest. I feel the handcramp already!
 
I think I'm going to go in a different direction with my bouquets. I'm falling in love with fabric bouquets. And I did a rough calc. For 8 bouquets it would probably only take about 60 dollars and whole lot of my time to complete lol but I think it will be worth my effort.

I plan to finish addressing invitations as well as finish painting our guest book thingie
 
I had a dream last night that I didnt' get my dress until the week before my wedding, and I hated it but I had to wear it because I had nothing else to wear. :lol: It was a bad feeling... Im getting my dress based off an "idea" and off a dress that I tried on which was similar to the one she's making for me, but I have yet to try on my actual dress. Kinda crazy.

What's crazier is that I wanted to get married in this and FH said no, so now Im dealing with all this dress drama because he wouldn't let me be great. :lachen: Ol punk.

His mom has neither confirmed nor denied that she, too, will be wearing a white dress to our wedding. :look: :lol: I have decided that I do not care, because there are too many other things to care about that matter SO much more. And she's not a malicious person or shady, she just wants to match FH and I (he's wearing a white jacket). I know it's not coming from a spiteful place, I have no doubts about that. And Im sure if I were to say something to her about it if it REALLY bothered me, she would have NO problem wearing a different color. But after my initial 2-second reaction, I just decided that I don't care that much and she can wear the same damn dress as me if she likes, it ain't that deep. And Imma still be the flyest one there. :look: :lol:

I need shoooooeeessss!!!!

My weave shipped. :yay: Lawd let me love this hair.. let it match my hair.. let this work.... Because if not then it's back to the drawing board on hair and styles and alladat.
 
Made a trip to NY yesterday to purchase lace for my veil. I bought a beautiful French lace. I can not wait to start to start on it! The lace was expensive as hell! Oh well this is turning into an heirloom veil. Hopefully some of sisters would like to borrow when they get married

Etsy has gawgus jewels. I just got my jewelry last week from a lady who hand makes all of her pieces in Greece. So beautiful! I'm in love!
 
We changed our minds like 3 times about the song for the first dance. I think it's set now. Am I the only one who can't wait until their wedding is over so they have junk food again lol. I eat healthy about 70% of the time but now I'm trying to fight those cravings.
 
It's 95% official that I'm wearing a curly puff for my wedding. FH loves it, I love it, dammit errybody betta love it. Need to make sure I have the right cocktail of product, lest my edges lose their fleek

Still need a few more honeymoon outfits though.... I bought a pink sundress and a really cute, classy black shorts romper over the weekend. I also found this bright green and blue dress in my closet from last summer that I couldnt fit but now is fitting better :yay:. Need a nice travel outfit too, and a new travel tote (they had some beautiful reversible ones at Target); they also had these cute ones at Nordstrom.

Still need wedding night lingerie... I have nice lingerie, but nothing that screams I IZ YO WIFE NOW. Still looking.

Jewelry.. also still looking. Adore what @Taleah2009 posted but out of my price range honestly. Still looking.

Need to finalize my makeup looks. Almost got it down.

Need to do a test spray tan to see if I really want to get a spray tan for the wedding.

Need to create map cards for our guests on how to get from the chapel to the restaurant (even though everyone is just gonna use GPS).

Everything is coming together even though it doesn't sound like it. :lol: But I really do feel much more excited and motivated now that it's damn near here. :lol:
