-Raw shea butter.....I dont see how a butter can make your hair super oily and dry at the same time
nono: RIGHT!

I am very surprised no one said perm....
but that isn't mine. Mine is tresemme 4+4 revitalizing conditioner... I used it up hoping that if I found the right way to use it, or if I used it with a some type of other balancing product/ingredient it would be decent, but it never worked well for me.
1. Jason's Sea Kelp Conditioner
2. Shea Butter
3. glycerin (at the top of the ingredients list)
4. oils (except for castor oil and camellia oil)
luster's pink lotion. it was just bad. and thats before the new scent came out. it smelled but i thought it was the best thing ever.
I know I should not laugh, but girl you had me cracking up!ummmm...Castor Oil.
Only because I was allergic and sick for days.
I didn't even know someone could be allergic but I DC'd with steam and it went into my pores and O.M.G. I have never been so sick I get the shakes just thinking about it.
Girl you need to stop it already! You are too comical for words!I will look into the Veggie glycerin! Thanks! My face and hands were pretty ugly but my neck was fine. It was the awful nausea and stomach cramping that got me. It felt the way you do with heat stroke or sea sickness. I have a few food allergy and some rare ones but I never even thought about it before using it. Then my mom tells me "Oh yea your Grandma gave you some when you were little and you got so sick it scared us." Geee thanks for coming late to the party there Ma!
Organix Coconut Conditioner
Suave Conditioners
Anything by Burt's Bees - This line was the worst
The Cricket Silkcomb - It's like it's made to break hair. I threw it across the room I was so afraid of it.
S Curl - I hated everything about it.
Chi Silk Infusion - I love the smell, but it gives me hardly any shine and leaves my hair feeling coated.
Newer Garnier products
Totally recommended for People with Thick, Curly, or Course hair... It actually works better as a leave in conditioner/styling aide.Amen on the Burt's Bees...but I do like their Avocado Butter Pre-Shampoo treatment.
The worst product I used was Doo Gro stimulating growth oil....it gave no growth and left my hair a hot greasy mess plus it contained mineral oil. It didn't give me a setback but I could have bought something better like natural oils
You have such a list - what actually work for you? I ask because you have some products on the list that LHCF members rave about (i.e. Coconut oil, Silicon Mix, Elasta QP, among others).
I know, which is why I now view product raves with a somewhat jaundiced eye. erplexed
What has proven to work for me, (work = nondrying and does not produce hard, tangled hair) is Biolage Ultra Hydrating Balm, Tigi Bed Head Moisture Manic, Lustrasilk Aloe Vera Cholesterol, Paul Mitchell's The Conditioner and Skala Shea Butter Conditioner, in addition to EVOO and castor oil.

I try to use products that are recommended by women that share the same hair type as me. I guess my logic is what works for their hair should work for mine, with minor exceptions of course.
Of your list, I've only tried the Biolage Ultra Hydrating Balm and it is really good - I loved it. I may circle back in the near future, after I finish evaluating some of my current products.
Pantene relaxed and natural; the worst breakage central; they should inform the consumer that this product has protien and is not to be used daily/ weekly.
