what was your worst hair product??

I just had a bad experience with a hair product. I tried an Apple Cider Vinegar rinse for the first time which got my scalp squeaky clean YAY! But I also tried Tresemme Heat Tamer spray and my hair does not like it one bit. So much hair came out when I blow dried my hair, even when I finger combed and it took 20 minutes longer to blow dry than it usually does. It also made my hair sticky, I could tell from the moment I sprayed it on, so never again!:nono:
 
beemine sulfur was mines. I don't know if it was the braiding along with it but my hair just started breaking and my split ends I had to cut and I lost length.
 
Eco-Styler Gel . ihate it. iwish to god ihad kept my receipt so icould take it back and bought that eye-brightening cream ihad seen in Sallys instead -_- now it's just sitting here =/
 
I'm just like Barbara the Elasta Mango Olive moisturizer was one of the very FIRST things ibought after reading rave reviews about it when ijoined LHCF. iactually liked it at first :grin: the smell was nice and kept my hair feeling great.. for a few hours :perplexed it turned against me or something and it later made my hair feel crispy dry (x__x)

also iwont repurchase jamaican black castor oil -_- it's too freakin thick and sticky to use on my hair :nono: but also only apply it to my edges since idone already spent money on it :ohwell: it makes me itch a little..

-but idid use it in my Kimmytube leave in and loved it :love: still wouldn't repurchase -_-
 
Too many bad products to name them all, but one that went straight to the trash was Optimum oil moisturizer. Suave's knock off "Aveda" shampoo and conditioner were terrible, nothing like Aveda at all.

Aw Skala, what happened to all those people?

The worse for me so far was.

Trader Joes Nourish and Spa. It was a terrible detangler and it didn't moisturize my hair.

shea moisture deep treatment masque- It left my hair very hard and matted. I had to deep condition with something else three nights in a row to recover. And the consistency sucked too.

EVOO-It is ok when I mix it with other things I guess.

Shea butter is overrated and smelly.
 
Miss Jessie's Curly pudding is the pitts!! I am going to have to do an overnight DC to get some softness back into my hair!
 
Creme of nature conditioner .... made my hair (when i was relaxed) tie up into a huge ball on my head. It was a horrible experience.

was one of the first products I bought in my HJ after reading how much "slip" i wud get for detangling.

I uses Suave Humectant. It works good. My hair dresser referred me to buy it. I have the shampoo and conditioner. I mostly use the conditioner though. :-)

Elasta DPR-11.......It just sat on my head doing nothing
Coconut oil used directly on my hair makes it extra crispy
HE Hello Hydration conditioner doesn't do a thing for my hair, if anything it makes it drier
 
Lottabody olive oil setting lotion. Made my hair crunchy and dry even though I only used a little bit diluted with water
 
Dr. Miracles relaxer. Hair was underprocessed (not processed AT ALL) and the skin on my hands peeled off!
 
I have quite a few:
Mane n Tail Herbel Gro Leave in Creme Therapy - made my hair feel like straw

Elasta QP Organic Infusion No Base Relaxer - Left my hair feeling stiff and dry as a desert; also didn't relax my hair either I'll stick to my CHI Deep Brilliance although it smells like rotten eggs and is runny as hell; it gets the job done and leaves my hair silky and with body even with just rinsing it out

Giovanni Deep Moisture Shampoo - Set my scalp ablaze! That ish burned/itched worse than any relaxer I have ever had in my life and it claimed to be "organic" PSH

Elasta QP Bodifying Shampoo - dried my hair out!! I realized the active sulfate is
sodium myreth sulfate which is the same on in the PM shampoo I will mention so I swore off all shampoos with this ingredient. Other sulfates work fine for me though

Paul Mitchell The Conditoner - left buildup

Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Moisture Mist - NO moisture whatsoever just cone overload

Paul Mitchell Instant Moisture shampoo - drying (yea my hair doesn't like PM products much)

Suave Humectant - did nothing for me I really wanted to like this (LOVE the smell) but I did like the Almond and Shea Butter conditioner. I picked up a small bottle of the Nexxus Humectress I hope that this is much better than their pathetic excuse of a knockoff

ORS Hair Lotion - I also wanted to like this but this just left my hair dry and greasy at the same time I'll stick to my staple leave ins/moisturizers the Alter Ego Nova Care Leave in and Cantu Shea Butter Leave in

Elasta QP Mango Butter Moisturizer - Did nothing for my natural hair. I've realized Elasta QP products are hit or miss but I will probably be phasing all of them out of my regimen

Rolland OWay Moisturizing Masque - Not moisturizing enough although I LOVE the Rolland UNA Moisturizing Masque a definite staple ironically that one contains MO and the Oway does not

Apretadora Pre-Shampoo treatment - left my hair a tangled mess!!
