LOL...You are entitled to you opinion. That the great thing about forums, not everyone is going to agree about everything. I am pretty sure that I am in a minority of people that arent willing to spit out $60 on a relaxer thats just OKAY. But whatever...thats just me, i'd rather put that $60 towards my next designer bag of choice.

The winner: During the time when everyone was raving about Giovanni Direct leave-in, I kept trying to resist buying it, but I broke down after a few weeks of resisting and bought it. Once my hair dried, it was both bone dry (as in completely dried out, no moisture anywhere, sucked it all out) and hard...It was just the worst... I was so disappointed.

First runner-up: ORS olive oil lotion.....my hair just hated it and it stinks. I am not sensitive to smells at all...I mean MTG does not bother me nor does Glovers, etc. , but I could not tolerate the smell and it did nothing for my hair. I cannot even stand to look at the bottle in the BSS. When I see the bottle, I seem to also smell it and peeyewyucky... I gave it away with a quickness...

Being the PJ I am, I have bought too many products that didn't work for me. The ones that really disappointed me though were:

-Neutrogena Triple Moisture Hair Mask
-ORS Replenishing Pak

Both of these products had such great reviews from a lot of people but they both just made my hair a tangled mess.

NTM Deep Recovery hair mask - made my hair tangled, left no slip. Returned immediately.

NTM Silk Touch Leave-in - Allegedly moisturizes. Allegedly.

Nexxus anything - my hair and this line just don't agree.

awwww man, It did'nt work for you. I love NTM Silk Touch, it leaves my hair moisturized. I raned out and had to use Garnier Fructis leave in last night and this morning when my hair dried it was hard so I put some Profective Megagrowth hair lotion on my hair and it was back soft again...sorry it's did'nt work...you don't have any left to throw my way do you just j/k....no I'm not....just j/k

That's my bestest conditioner in the whole wide world...sawwwwy it didn't work out. you wouldn't happen to have any left in the tub not the bottle...in the tub

Perm Repair hair creme... this stuff had mineral oil in it and it made my hair feel stiff and sticky.. hated it .

however, the perm repair setting lotion spray works well on my roller sets .

Lol, nah girl. NTM got returned to CVS within the hour. I'll just stick with my trusty Elasta QP Mango Butter. Never had a problem with the mango butter. I try to try new stuff, but in the end, my motto is "go with what you know."

Yah, you have to stick with what works for you. many times I want to try something because of the raves of other women but I say naw...like that hello hydration...everyone was raving about that. I almost bought some because of the pretty bottle and it smelled good but I resisted and now ALOT of ppl do not like it...I made a promise to myself to stick with what's working for me....now I will try new oils and leaveins but I never stray away from my staple products but ummm...you took the NTM back huh?

I don't think I have any. I mean I have tried things that did not work as well as I would like, but nothing that has been bad for my hair.

I also did not like the PhytoRelaxer, but I don't think it can be my worse product. I plan on trying it again, one day.

No, I can't think of one product.

MTG is close, though. I could not stand the smell and threw it out.

OMG...I love this stuff. But as we see in this thread, everything does not work for everyone. Sorry it didnt work out for you.

Now I will dodge the rocks.....Qhemet Alma Heavy Cream. Nawh Dawg, this stuff was just not for me. No matter how hard I tried to love this, it was a no go. It now has a happy home with a Qhemet Heavy Cream Lover.

I agree about the ORS Olive Oil lotion (acted like glue and made my hair very tangled) and Pantene Relaxed and Natural oil moisturizer (very drying).

Cantu Shea Butter leave-in conditioning repair cream. I tried it on wet hair. I tried it on dry hair. I tried to twist with it. I mixed it with aloe vera. It just sat on top of the hair and produced white beads. I should have listened to my first mind (Holy Spirit) and not wasted that $5.

NTM Daily Deep Conditioner. This did not moisturize my hair at all. It left my hair a tangled, knotted, breaking mess and felt like acid on my hands. It was the catalayst for the WORST setback I'd ever had since joining LHCF. I wouldn't go near that stuff again if you paid me.

Okay My worst products ever

-ELASTA ManGo Butter-This don't do JACK..........(it smells pretty tho)
-Phyto shampoo conditioner-nada nada
-Infusium Conditioner-Strips hair like crazy
-Redken heatglide-horrible heavy greasy mess
-Kemi oyl-smells nice then gets all dirty and greasy after like an hour

Girl, that stuff got returned to CVS on the second go around. I tried to give it the benefit of the doubt but my tangled hair and pruny hands were telling me to keep it moving.erplexed

Yes, that Lusters Pink Oil Lotion was like brillo pad on my hair. Fortunately, I tested it on the front ends only. My hair was hard as steel wool. I even set some aside and doctored it up, since I had a big bottle--which I bought on sale. I thought I would have to cut this section off. Fortunately, I had to press it and apply an oil blend to get it soft and supple again. Then I ended up giving it away, but for some people it works nice.

The crazy thing about it is that my stylist uses it on my hair from time to time, and I just discovered this last week. He said: "It works good on your hair." I said: "Yes when you press it after you apply it with an oil blend."

Ummm...I think that one of the reasons that I was so disappointed by these products is because they were hyped:

2rd runner up: The Original Main and Tail Shampoo and Conditioner; the Shampoo did nothing but strip my hair...and the conditioner just sat there.
1nd runner up: Redkin Heavy Cream; this ish was EXPENSIVE...and didn't really do anything special...
Winner: Infusium 23 Leave In; OMG...my hair was as hard as a rock. I bought this the first week of my hair journey when I began following the Crown & Glory regimen...OMG worst waste of money ever.
