♥~♥ SINGLE MOTHERS SUPPORT THREAD! ♥~♥

He's having a slight issue with his bladder. It's something we're working out with the doctor.
My son has bladder issues all day every day. They act like they can't cath him before he leaks nearly every day at school. I've changed the cath times a couple of times, but they still keep missing him. I'm glad he's not at that age where it causes him any embarrassment. He just keeps rolling. But I'm tired of washing clothes...grrr....lol
Does your son need to be cathed? Actually my son had some botox shot into his bladder back in August (I think). I do believe it's time for another.

He has an over active bladder. I don't think he does.

sorry you and your baby will miss her dad on her first Christmas. However... wow. His parents stepping up like that. My own family hasn't given us one thin dime---ans she about to be 10. And they had the means to do so. Like @crlsweetie912 says, dont look a gift horse in the mouth! Wowoee!

Hes come a long way with YOUR guidance! Congrats, mom! :)
Thank you so much sis!!!!!!

Random single mom thought.

I'm really comfortable in this spot im in, non-relationship wise . Not looking. Don't want to look. Not giving and real *** about the topic. However its been a year and a half since my last real bf. This really is the longest ive been single since I started dating at 15. Im 42. Its quite liberating.

but I think I SHOULD be at least on the lookout. Not getting any younger and my looks, such as they are, might have...another good 5 years left? And trying to integrate some dude when she is older (possibly a teen) could be problematic...with the drama of teen girls, such as they are... and we are super close *knocks wood*

Sigh...

I also got soooo many goals (a major one within 6 months of reaching) that involve only me and my daughter financial-wise, even trips and vacays, milestones we will reach together ... and of course im caring for two dependant adults as well as dd and working so...

When and how am I supposed to squeeze some dude into alladat? I dont. Cant. And still it doesn't bother me but I feel like it should! :spinning:

Tossing around the idea of a fb or fwb. Maybe that will make me feel less guilty about not feeling guilty:drunk:

It irks my nerves when non parents make comments or have opinions about How to raise someone's children. Until you are a parent you will never know the struggle, lol.
Dooooon't get me started!!! :swearing:

What really burns my bottom is ppl who chuck parenting advice and aren't even raising or didnt raise their own dang kids. That's a helluva lot worse imho. I get that quite a bit! :pullhair:

And those ppl who THINK they know what their doing when they make all this complicated plans for the future children they don't have and honestly think life is going to agree with all their tailored made plans. I wish I could be fly on the wall in some their fantasies come to life.

I'd just like to give my home state some love today for all the resources they offer those of us going through some "times".
Today I had a very violent allergic reaction to (get this!) my scheduled allergy shots. Ain't that a kick in the head? My eyes turned bloody red and it felt like I had bees trying to sting their way through my skin from the inside out. The nurse shot me up with some adreniline and called the triage down. For their part they took their sweet arse time. I was hopping all over the place itching and axious and gagging. They show up and had the nurse shoot me up with steroids and Benedry. They took my blood pressue which was thru the roof!...something like 144 over 88. Actually, I think it was worst because that's what it was at the hospital. I had a damn itch on the bottom of my foot I could not scratch because of my boots!

I had to catch a ride to the ER in an ambulance and I had my kid with me. They loaded him and his wheelchair into the ambulance, strapped him down in this seat so he wouldn't get hurt (he had a good time riding in the ambulance btw), unloaded him, let him stay in the ER with me, fed him a sandwich, graham crackers and milk; and we watched tv until they cleared me to leave. Well, he watched tv...i passed out from the Benedryl. Since I had to leave my car at the clinic which was waaaay over in the other county, I had to get a taxi. Thank god my insurace paid for it. That would-a been $26 ride! And dude showed up with a car seat and a trunk big enough to hold my kid's entire wheelchair. All and all my kid only had two meltdowns and went straight to sleep once we got home.

All and all it was a good day!

Goodness, glad you're okay.
