Thought she had just a fever and cold with cough over the weekend. Seemed recovered as I wrote above. Decided on intuition to take her in this morning. Thank God I did. Caught the disease very early. I was totally floored by the diagnosis.

Now my youngest started last week. I had the week off so I took him. Usually his father takes him and I pick him up. So all last week not one word or call. How was his first day? Homework...let me check on him NOTHING. So Tuesday I drop him off back like our normal schedule. How about this fool calls me oh he looks so sharp. Really put together. All his clothes are so nice....his shoes everything looks great. Negro you aint do JACK. Did you want me to beg you to do what you are supposed to do? Did you think he wouldn't have what he needed cause you fell back and didn't lift one finger....spare me...

Just wanted to thank yall for sending well wishes to my little one. She woke much better today. Talking...and talking... and talking... :pullhair: oh dear lord I forgot how much of a motor mouth she is :lol:

Opposite sex over nights?

The clears across the street are having a boy stay overnight with their daughter. Both are 8. I am perplexed. Past age 4 I wouldn't even consider it unless a relative.

Maybe im just strict and old fashioned and just plain old. :lol:

Ugh... i am coming down with whatever dd had. Hopefully not the pneumonia ffs. Shes all good now btw. That's way more important.

Idk how imma handle her, this virus AND work plus the damn dog. Work also talmbout having ne work thru the weekend. Thats just not great. No ma'am.

Naw....lol. just crazy over here. But my oldest started college classes today and finally got a job. So things are lookin up. My youngest is LOVING the new school after all the fear and dragging his feet. Praying all my single mom's club sisters are doing well.
 
Hey y'all. Finally got some good news. Got my upgrade at work! I'm so frikkin happy! My son got almost straight A's at the new school (he got one 89) I'm so proud and happy I could burst!!!!!!
 
hey ladies! i was gone for a minute, now i'm back. going to read to catch up! hope everyone is doing well! i'm working on going back to school next year and a few other things. this seems to be such a difficult and stressful process for me. just so much to consider! it wasn't this hard when i was younger. choosing a major and school is starting to become a handful!

I have plans to register for school in January. .mi just gotta make it through this year first
 
^^^ladies let me tell you! this going back to school thing is so serious! i wonder do kids really understand and know what they are getting into? most don't. they just know it's something you are suppose to do once you finish high school. i have a degree, but i decided to change fields. you really gotta understand the magnitude of what choosing a major/career is all about. since it's not just me anymore and i'm older, i have to consider how this will effect my future, my children, etc... this career is going to take me into retirement, so i need to make sure i know what i am doing. i have no money, or time to waste!

also my mother has been really concerned with my health. i made an appt to see a doctor, but that will be close to the end of the month! i have some sort of blotchy spots on my ankles, and the veins in my arm near my wrist swell up and cause burning, pain, and discomfort. don't know what any of that is about...

Today is bittersweet, it is my oldest dd 18th bday. She is coming into her own. She is a truly amazing girl. I can't wait to continue to see her develop into the woman she is supposed to be. We are going next weekend to her choice college's open house. She HAS to get into this college. :wallbash:

I will try to post a pic of her. I made her a crown to wear to school b/c she wanted me too. We got her balloons and flowers. She went to dinner with friends on Friday and shopping Saturday. All that is next is her getting her driver's license and a car. My ds went on a cruise with my dad all male cruise so I know he is in hog heaven. The youngest starts driver's ed tonight :thud:

LOL my parents were done in their late 40s. They are 62 now, living the life. That is why I say if I am not attached at 44 I will be heading to the beach with my Dad.
 
Thanks Ladies, she is a diva all day long. She didn't want to take her crown off her head so I could snap a pic of it. She plans on wearing it all month long.
