Thank you. I'm very impressed and I'm looking forward to checking out the Thermashine and Straighten out lines. I ordered some samples from their websites so I'm going to see how that goes.

I use the straighten out line when I have alot of newgrowth. The creme is really good from that set.

HITS:

V05 Herbal Escapes Kiwi Lime Squeeze Clarifying Shampoo - This shampoo worked really well on my hair today. I've been looking for a replacement for the Suave clarifying shampoo, and I think this is it. It left my hair really clean, not stripped, and very smooth. Plus, it smelled heavenly. It's definitely keeper.

I LOVE this shampoo as a clarifier. Glad you liked it. Plus it cleans my scarves well too :yep: .

Hit/sorta: Hollywood Beauty Olive Cholesterol conditioner+TCB Hot oil treatment as a prepoo. My hair felt soft after shampooing, but then again it always feels soft. I see thisis one of those things I have to try numerous times.

Hit: Cantu Shea Butter Leave In Conditioning Repair Cream
Wanna talk about some soft hurr? I freakin love this stuff, and the smell is divine!

Bought but haven't tried yet:
BB Growth Lotion
Dabur Amla Oil
Dabur Vatika
Parachute Coconut Oil
Shikakai(sp?) powder

(Guess who finally went into the city? Hee-hee)

Misses: Microfiber towels. Everytime I use it, broken strands of hair come out on the towel.
Vatika oil: After a months use it did nothing special for my hair.

I had this problem, as well. It's like they snag hair or something. I put one in the dryer with my other towels and after they were dry the fabric softener sheet was stuck to it.

I stopped using it for the same reason.

HIT: Vatika oil - I added a litle over my leave-in last night, and I was a little concerned that my hair would be oily to the touch today, but it isn't. My hair is soft and smooth, as usual, and the Vatika oil seems to have kept my hair from getting frizzy. I'm going to try this again next weekend to confirm the results. :)

Miss: Nexxus Humectress - As a long-time Nexxus devotee, it pains me to say this. Humectress was the conditioner that turned my hair around when I started this journey, but it's new and improved sibling, Humectin has taken its place. I have been head over heels in love with Humectin since I started using it, but I had some Humectress left that I was trying to use up. So after 3 consecutive weeks of using Humectin, I used Humectress last night, and I could definitely tell the difference. My hair dried very soft and smooth, but the detangling process wasn't as easy as it is with Humectin. So, I'm officially sticking with the Nexxus Phyto Organics. :)

I know its terrible. I was kind of upset, because others have raved about it.

~Motions Moisture-Plus. Had me fooled into thinking I had another cheap keeper. WRONG! My hair was dry, tangled, and couldn't do ANYTHING with it before my relaxer. This mishap let me know once again that I better stick with my KeraCare/Mizani and Proclaim as my cheap love.

Did you use the one in the bottle or the tub because they are a little different. I remember having serious slip with this but it was the tub. The bottle didn't give the same results so I threw it away when most of it was gone. I think there's a little difference in the ingredients.

Smooth n Shine Extra Strength Leave-in Conditioning Creme is the bomb.

Ecostyler krystal gel, no stiffness, no tackiness, no alcohol is great too!

I started to get some of that Smooth n Shine Extra Strength Leave-in Conditioning Creme when I got my Cantu Leave in Creme, but y'all hadn't said nothing about it so I put it back. I don't by nothing unless y'all give it the thumbs up. LOL Well, guess I'll add that to my To Buy list.

Putting this on my list to get after I finish up my Humectress. I love the Humectress but if this is better.....watch out! (I still use the old formula Nexxus before it hit the drug stores. I know some of the ladies say it's different since then.)

Shocking Hit: Dove Advanced Care conditioner - I thought this would be a dud but it's been working on my hair incredibly well!! When I use it in the shower, it doesn't feel like my hair is getting any better but as soon as I step out, I can tell the difference. It makes my hair incredibly soft afterwards and my hair stays moist for hours afterwards.

J/A/S/O/N sea kelp and lavendar conditioner. These products work so well for my hair. I keep pretending that I don't need them because they're so difficult for me to buy but I have to keep it real - these have been the best products I have EVER used on my hair, when natural or texlaxed.

Misses: Suave conditioners, Fantasia IC gel with sparklites, Sunsilk TLC. I used to love this stuff but it makes my texlaxed hair hard and dry. I'm going to have to start investing in the products that actually help my hair it seems.

Wow..I'm blown away by the Silicon mix leave in. I thought Lacio, Lacio was the bomb. Silicon Mix leave in makes my hair like butta. I'm like 10 weeks and my hair is soft and straight. I've been on a search for THE leave in so I've tried many...too many. I can't imagine anything topping this.

Oh my god...Smooth n' Shine Curl Activator Gel. What took me so long to try it. My wash and go is the bomb now. Soft defined curls with this stuff. Love it! BTZ stiff head Awesome! What else...oh yeah and Garnier Brilliant Shine Glossing Spray gives you a natural looking shine and no greasy feel.

My two hits are items I have in storage.

Hits:

Profectiv Leave In Strengthener...leaves hair with excellent slip and smell.
Almond Oil...I kinda like the smell when I put it on wet hair and go under the dryer.:look:

....no misses yet!:)

Girl it is the BOMB! I love it!

I know exactly what you mean. I'm sitting here with crunchy hair and I'm scared to even touch it. *sigh*

I'm washing this crap out tonite!

That was trash for me too.

It actually makes my hair break more.:perplexed

Yes it is. I was shocked at how soft, straight and shiny my hair was. It was swinging too and I need a touch up big time.

Hits: Nature's Gate Rose and Persimmon Conditioner...I love this brand as well! I never knew an organic could make my hair feel this way.

Vatika Oil (don't remember I mentioned it last month but it is worth restating).

Issues: Hood drying....I like it but I am starting to think it is still damaging my hair. I think I need a better one

Do you find it detangling? I have the silicon Mix leave-in and I've only used it on dry hair. I also love my Lacio Lacio!

Hit: I take it back about what I said about Amla oil. My hair loves this as a pre poo! I think I may use this before I co wash also!:D

I use it before cowashes sometimes. I sort of de-funkified it by mixing it with castor oil and peppermint EO, though.

Yes I do and my hair has been really getting tangled lately and it really help that. I thought I would have to mix it with my razac (liquid leave in) but I didn't.
