i've got a big ole bottle of this stuff that's probably a year old. it was actually sentenced to 3 lifeterms under the bathroom sink.
didn't like it so much when i had mostly permie hair but when i recently big minichopped this wiry hair of mine, the back ends (and other natural parts) were so blunt, stiff and dry feeling. my old standbys weren't helping at all.
had to dig through a few boxes for this since i haven't unpacked everything from the move yet but i'm sooooooo glad i didn't throw it away!
this and a teeny/tiny bit of water spritz before braiding and hair turned out so soft and moist feeling. definitely worthy of further experimentations
2 thumbs up and a thanks to Care Free Curl for the personal floation device!

LocksOfLuV said:I am Dcing with Atone Now. *whispers a sweet prayer* I hope the slip is all that it is cracked up to be. I loved the snotty texture tho.It felt good going on my strands.
CurlyGirly327 said:Miss: I'm sad to be saying this, but I think Boundless Tresses is a miss for me. Since I started using it, I've noticed that my hair feels very dry and thirsty after I apply it. I always apply it to freshly shampooed/co-washed and towel-dried hair, and it feels super-soft at first, but once it dries completely, my hair feels stiff and crunchy. It feels like my hair needs a good DC with heat and a top-shelf moisturizer--AFTER I've applied the dang product!![]()
I think I'm gonna have to give this stuff away... I don't think my hair likes sulfur...![]()
divinefavor said:Where do you purchase the Phytospecific from? How does it compare to Aveda? I love Aveda! But, I would like to add another line to alternate with Aveda.

-THE DENMAN BRUSH!!!!
Like ya'll didn't already know.![]()
-Another hit: Bantu knots! I LOVE the way my hair looks and moves when I do it sloppy and quick. It gets volume and looks like a sexy tossled look. I love it! It will be my summer do!
Oooh Letitia you make me want to try the Victoria's Secret Condish! I haven't had a product urge in so long, but this will be great for me to co-wash with-- I hope. I like having nice smelling hair when I go out. lol.
Oh that reminds me of a miss I forgot to add months ago:
Hello Hydration- It was a hit at first (lots of slip in the shower), but then I realized that the cones make my hair feel like straw and dry after my hair dries.I don't like that at all. It's weird cause my hair usually loves cones.

LocksOfLuV said:OMG this stuff was a complete MISS. The slip was nothing compared to silicon mix. My hair was pretty knotted and I have a ruff detangling session.
Another Miss- Me.I got outta control detangling and I was so frustrated, I just started ripping the comb through my head. I lost SO much hair, but I don't *see* any damage so I hope it looks okay next week when I relax.

So far this was a miss for me too. It felt good on but once it was out it there was no slip. Had the same detangling problem. I was baffled but I have it sitting on my counter because I'm going to use it one more time. If it doesn't work then it's out.
avyance said:Aveda is still my number 1 but Phytospecific is definitely number 2. The bounce I got from it was the bomb!!!!
I am in Europe, so I purchase my products over here. But when I do come home to the states, I tend to stock up using Polly and Co. online.
