Hits:
Phytospecific Intensive Nutrition Shampoo and Mask

No misses.

I think I have found my staples:
Aveda and Phytospecific........I need a second job:ohwell:

Where do you purchase the Phytospecific from? How does it compare to Aveda? I love Aveda! But, I would like to add another line to alternate with Aveda.

Profectiv leave in conditioner spray (in the purple bottle)... great for detangling/ when combing out my hair and generally made my hair feel really nice... my 1st ever potential staple

I have more HITS to add to this month, here they are:

Ida's Shampoo Bars
Shealoe Butter (FNWL) <-- Revisited Hit
Avocado Butter (FNWL)
Sweet Almond Butter (FNWL)

Girl, your hair is looking so pretty with all those curls. How are you liking the Noursh Spa?

HIT

Mizani Sensitive Scalp relaxer - I used it right after I took my weave out, and there was no irritation at all. I might start using this in place of Phyto!

Full head baggying - My hair is so shiny, well moisturized and soft (but not too soft).

Aveda Universal Styling Creme - This might replace my Vitapointe. It's not as greasy and gets the job done.

Revisited, has cones but i don't care since it bailed me out hahaha!:

Care Free Curl Gold Instant Activator:

http://www.walgreens.com/store/product.jsp?CATID=100316&navAction=jump&navCount=0&id=prod2330152

i've got a big ole bottle of this stuff that's probably a year old. it was actually sentenced to 3 lifeterms under the bathroom sink.

didn't like it so much when i had mostly permie hair but when i recently big minichopped this wiry hair of mine, the back ends (and other natural parts) were so blunt, stiff and dry feeling. my old standbys weren't helping at all.

had to dig through a few boxes for this since i haven't unpacked everything from the move yet but i'm sooooooo glad i didn't throw it away!

this and a teeny/tiny bit of water spritz before braiding and hair turned out so soft and moist feeling. definitely worthy of further experimentations

2 thumbs up and a thanks to Care Free Curl for the personal floation device!

I think I may have to try this. I loved the Care free curl with jojoba oil.

Hits:
Baggy Method
UBH Conditioner
Nexxus Humectress (I used some as a leave in over night and my breakage has totally ceased! It must've corrected my protein/moisture balance so from now on I will be DC with Humectress oafter my UBH)
1/2 S curl 1/2 Distlled Water as a moisturizer. My hair loves it and so do my girls hair!
Hair2Heaven End All for sealing - works fantastic and smells YUMMY! I almost got a spoon:lol:
VO5 Tea Therapy for Cowash

Misses:
Suave Cucumber Melon Condish - leaves my hair like straw
Dove Moisture Miss - Does nothing for my hair and smells like dryer sheets
Suave Condish as moisturizer

On The Fence:
Profectiv Long & Healthy - as a stand alone moisturizer it does little to nothing, but makes my hair soft when used as a sealant. Will probably not repurchase.

Adding to the Hit list:

Cantu Shine Hair Silk...love it. So far I've only used it on dry hair.
Barry Fletcher Glo N Grow..bought for my ends and I think I have a keeper. It's working better than my Profectiv products (healthy ends and roothealth). It also smells so good.

Hit:
John Frieda Frizz-Ease Relax Sheer Reflections Spray

Adding Hits:
AtOne With Nature Dry, Itchy Scalp Conditioner!!!!  Has the same consistency of the reconstructor, but with some serious Peppermint Oils & Menthol. Left my scalp tingly-fresh & my hair very moisturized.

Clairol Conditioning Beauty Pak--An 'Oldie But Goodie' (came out in the 70's) that had been in my product bin for a while. Works wonderful as moisturizing & protein mask. Definitely a keeper in my regimen.

No Misses

More Hits: (I went on a hair product shopping spree this month)

-Asha's "Shea What?" Pomade.....I love this product, It moisturizes my new growth wonderfully and has a really nice, fresh/clean fragrance. It's become a staple.

-Asha's "Green Tea".....I really like this product as well, I will use it on my scalp and to revitalize curly styles.

-Asha's Silk Rose Elixir.....This is a great moisturizer and I will also use this product to revitalize curly and wavy styles.

These products will be great to help keep my hair tamed in the summer.

I am Dcing with Atone Now. *whispers a sweet prayer* I hope the slip is all that it is cracked up to be. I loved the snotty texture tho. It felt good going on my strands.

ETA: Forgot to list mine.

Elucence Moisture Poo......I wasn't expecting my hair to feel this soft and moist. I am glad I purchased this in the liter size.

OMG this stuff was a complete MISS. The slip was nothing compared to silicon mix. My hair was pretty knotted and I have a ruff detangling session.

Another Miss- Me.:( I got outta control detangling and I was so frustrated, I just started ripping the comb through my head. I lost SO much hair, but I don't *see* any damage so I hope it looks okay next week when I relax.:ohwell:

Miss: I'm sad to be saying this, but I think Boundless Tresses is a miss for me. Since I started using it, I've noticed that my hair feels very dry and thirsty after I apply it. I always apply it to freshly shampooed/co-washed and towel-dried hair, and it feels super-soft at first, but once it dries completely, my hair feels stiff and crunchy. It feels like my hair needs a good DC with heat and a top-shelf moisturizer--AFTER I've applied the dang product!

I think I'm gonna have to give this stuff away... I don't think my hair likes sulfur... :ohwell:

As I am 7 1/2 weeks post touch up (seriously thinking now...can I make it 5-6 more weeks:( ) I was grateful for the hair bangers that helped me lay this new growth down so I can do my braidout.

CONTINUED HITS:

V05 Tea Therapy Calming Conditioner

NTM DDC - always a Mo hairbanger
Garnier Sleek & Shine Conditioner - *so sorry it took me so long to find you*

and..I think I'm feeling the Kiehl's Intensive Conditioner... I want to try it again...but it's looking really good:)

whipped out the Dove Moisture Mist, Africa's Best Leave In Hair Mayo and Garnier Sleek and Shine Leave In....and air dried.

Will see if this repeated combo will help me make it until touch up time. I have to try and make it at least to 10 weeks..:ohwell:

I have a miss....Generic Value Products Silk Treatment Compare to: Farouk Systems Bio-Silk Therapy...i was looking for a glosser it left my hair sticky coated and limp ...now I have a whole bottle that in not gonna use

HITS:

-THE DENMAN BRUSH!!!!
Like ya'll didn't already know. :look:

-Another hit: Bantu knots! I LOVE the way my hair looks and moves when I do it sloppy and quick. It gets volume and looks like a sexy tossled look. I love it! It will be my summer do!

Oooh Letitia you make me want to try the Victoria's Secret Condish! I haven't had a product urge in so long, but this will be great for me to co-wash with-- I hope. I like having nice smelling hair when I go out. lol.

Oh that reminds me of a miss I forgot to add months ago:

Hello Hydration- It was a hit at first (lots of slip in the shower), but then I realized that the cones make my hair feel like straw and dry after my hair dries. I don't like that at all. It's weird cause my hair usually loves cones. :ohwell:

This same thing has happened to me. Although I did get newgrowth from it, my hair is extra dry and crunchy feeling. I do not apply too much, I just pour some into a cap and apply with my finger tips. I don't understand why this is happening, but I want to finish out my bottle.

Aveda is still my number 1 but Phytospecific is definitely number 2. The bounce I got from it was the bomb!!!!

I am in Europe, so I purchase my products over here. But when I do come home to the states, I tend to stock up using Polly and Co. online.

I know you will love it a co-wash. I had two people ask what was so smelling so good in my hair.

Is this the Atone reconstructor.

So far this was a miss for me too. It felt good on but once it was out it there was no slip. Had the same detangling problem. I was baffled but I have it sitting on my counter because I'm going to use it one more time. If it doesn't work then it's out.

Yes Ma'am! I don't think I will use it again. I'll probably sell mines on the board.
