I would hate the sight of his face. He wouldn't be safe in my presence but I would also realize he's too worthless for me to end up in jail over, so I'd leave.

This isn't the first time he's stayed out all night and this isn't the first time you've suspected he was cheating. You learned about his outside child a year ago. That child is grown. Your child together is grown and moved out.

My guess is there was no fighting. His wife is meek and likely not willing to participate, so he found it elsewhere.

You know, a lot of relationships/marriages are like this. Chances are, the wife knows and is accepting. It couldn't be me, but I don't begrudge others to do what works for them. I'm assuming (???) he's a good husband (doesn't treat her poorly) and good provider?
