I need this so much - I'm going to give this a shot for Q1. Please see my starting pic as my siggy. (I changed to this pic specifically for the presence of back-fat.
I was the only one who didn't know it is this bad back there, how's that for cruel fate!)
What's your main motivation: I feel like I am not living my best life. There are times that I postpone (cancel) reunions, don't get in on photos, or spend too much time home because I've gained weight (back)and I don't want to be around others out of shame. It's just sad and stupid! I'm motivated to improve my health, but I also need to improve my life. I noticed this happening around June/July after I saw some pics of myself at a function where I felt very pretty - but the pics didn't validate my feelings! I'm ready for the outside to match the inside - in all ways.
How often will you update your progress in this thread? I will be updating my weight on a weekly basis - Sunday mornings. I will be updating my hair's progress on a quarterly basis unless something extraordinary happens.

weight loss/BMI goal: I would like to be at my goal weight of 150 lbs by December 31, 2012. I don't have a BMI goal, because it is my intention to strength train, and BMI doesn't take muscle mass into consideration.

Any other specific goals you'd like to reach: I want to have a fitness routine and clean eating lifestyle. I want to bellydance, (learn to) swim, and take yoga regularly throughout the year, and then continue on.
What will you change/continue in order to reach your weight loss goal? I will be continuing my low-carb eating, and daily exercising.
What will you change/continue to reach your hair goal? I'm giving up heat for 2012. Hopefully this translates into great retention.
