I was using Andrew Lessmans multi and HairSkin Nails and having sucess, but I gained ten pounds with no other explanation---so I'm off the vits for now.

I take Prenatal Vitamin (not pregnant...yet); vitamin e; fish oil (omega 3); folic acid....that's about it. I have MSM and Biotin also, but I don't want to overdue it. I hate taking pills anyway :ohwell:

I dont take anything right now. This list has been very helpful.
There is a Herbal place behind my gym, I'm going there to ask some questions and buy something that has mostly everything that I can take once a day.
Although takin pills is okay, I just cant be taking so many things in one day.

Flaxseed (oil), Biotin, b50-Complex and a strong Multi... hairs growing great i think this is a great mix, plus my skin is REALLY behaving! i'm very happy and full of energy too!!!!

ps. it takes a while to find the best combination by the way, just find out what you need and apply it to the benefits of vits

I went to a store called the Wellness Center just of City Line ave (bala cynwyd) in Philly.
I asked the lady about hair vitamins and she showed me this bottle for $36 that she swears is the best.. stupid me, I didnt write the name down to come talk about..
I will be going back.

biotin
powdered msm
vitamin E
Nioxin
Super B Complex

But I don't take them all on the same day. I alternate my Nioxin and Super B Complex.

I take Andrew Lessman's Healthy Hair Skin and Nails...It has 2500mcg of Biotin and 750 mg of MSM, among other things, like Soluble Organic Silicon and Panthenoic Acid, and other vits....

I used to take a multivitamin and a b-complex, but that addition got too expensive so i just stick to my multi and vitamin c chewable. I eat sensibly and I love what it's doing to my hair. All that protein that I eat makes my hair super thick... it won't relax :(

See my album. Too much to type. I am going to my Dr. on the 27. i was taking the Vitamis for health reasons.

My daily vitamins are as follows;

Biotin 2500mg - GNC
MSM 2000mg - GNC
Multi-Vit - Nature Made
Vit B12 Sublingal 2500mg - Nature's Bounty

I detoxed a bit in the begining (started 2 wks ago) with white heads and peeling skin symptoms on my face. My new growth is softer this time around (last relaxer Feb. 2). This should help me stretch longer. I will start with MTG today, and I am getting flaxseed (whole raw) tomorrow to add with food (salads, cereal, etc.). I also plan to increase my MSM dosage by another 1000mg this coming week. On top of this I am also using a colon cleanser at this time. I will wait another 2 wks to check new growth.

Here is what I am taking:

GNC - NourishHair (started 3/31/06)
New Chapter - Every Woman's One Daily (about 2 months now)
*New Chapter - CoQ10+ (22mg started 3/31/06)
Health From the Sun - Evening Primrose Oil (1000mg - Veggie )
Health From the Sun - Flaxseed Oil (1000mg until 3/31/06)
Barlean - FlaxOil (1 tbsp daily) - now this gets things moving! :lachen:
Nature's Life - Hi-B-100 B Complex
Nature's Life - Kelp (900 mcg)
Pure Plant - Amla-C Plus (1000 mg)
Flora - Vegetal Silica (820 mg)
Natual Factors - MSM (6000mg)
Nature's Plus - Cal/Mag (1500 mg)
Rexall - Biotin (12mg)

What a list!!!!! I went to see my Iridologist yesterday (3/31/06 I like to call her my eye doctor) and she said everything I was taking was good and very much needed for my body and then request I take a couple more (*) and Milk Thistle for my liver.

My hair has really made me a healthier person. Most of these vitamins are from Bargello's Vitamins regimen which I started 3/6/06 and it really has great benefit.

I don't see myself taking this many for the rest of my life but it works for right now.

Glad this thread was started, I really wanted a place to list what I am taking.

My list is not too bad:

I'm taking flax oil and MSM powder for my skin. I just got more Nioxin because I think I had results with the 30 day "test" supply that I had so I now have a 3 month supply of that. I'm trying to finish some Biotin that will expire in May.
