I have no patience, I had to cut. Instead of babying old hair, I'll start babying new hair.

You're hair looks very healthy now. I see what you meant about the nape making the back thin. Just keep babying the new ends, and nape. Try not to think about MBL at all. Just care for the hair, and bam..... you'll look up and you're there.

We just trimmed 1/2 in off of mine. No more until next year.

I'm in! My first challenge! Maybe a little unrealistic, my hair is shoulder length... but then again when I don't use heat on my hair, it grows like a weed and I just vowed to not use heat on my hair for a year! >_<;; Sooo if I can get to brastrap length by December 08 I'll be happy. But midback would be a great miracle, haha.

I'm getting a late start with my *challenge*...my fall regimen is underway but I still don't have all my *necessary* vitamins yet...need to get some *real* wild salmon too (so that I can have a good diet of fish at least once/twice weekly...I would have to order it since *real* wild salmon is hard to find in my area). I also decided to wait until 2.5 years have passed to straighten my hair as opposed to waiting 2 years (which would have been October 15, 2007). *Crosses fingers*

Personal update: I've officially reached BSL as of 10/13/07 so I'm wondering if I should change my MBL goal to January '08 instead of April? I guess technically I should, but I'm in no hurry and I know it'll come.

This challenge is for anyone that wants to reach MB by 12/08. The only one rule is to keep doing what you're doing to retain length and overall health of your hair.

I will be bumping this thread every 6-8 weeks to check everyone's progress. Anyone else that wants to bump this thread to document their growth, setbacks, etc is welcome to do so.

If you ladies would like to post a starting pic that would great. Mine is my siggy since I will be hiding until December.

Ladies, I feel we should step up this challenge just a little since we have a 1 1/2 year to make it to MBL.

Ladies that are BSL your target MBL is 1/08
1-3 inches from BSL your target MBL date is 4/08
APL ladies your target date is 7/08
SL ladies you have until 12/08.

Of course if you don't reach these goals by the target date you have until 12/08. This just gives the challenge a little zing. Please give your target dates also! Mine will be 4/08(I've been trimming)
