I'm a Pisces (march) and DH is a cancer. (June). He says I whine too much and I am sensitive. but we're alright. Been married going on 5 years. But we always debate. Or that's what he calls it. I just call it having a discussion. *shrug*

This is very interesting. I think that there is some truth to this but I also think your other placements can alter some things also. Like I can definitely see why a sag is at the bottom for me...especially when someone has a moon in gemini (I knew a guy with this)....I could see a sag with a moon in say aquarius or scorpio be a better choice than a sag with moon in gemini. It is quite interesting that a scorpio is at the top of the list because my longest relationship was with a scorpio. It was actually quite organic despite the fact that typically a scorpio and leo are suppose to not be a good match. I also can see why the other waters would be at the bottom too, never really attracted them and I don't think I could be with a cancer or pisces. They would have to have strong air or fire or earth aspects to balance that softness out.

Aquarius is at the top of the list but I have never dated one. My best friend is an aquarius though. Libra is at the top but the libra that I talked to was slow pacing it, its like they need alot of confirmation before they make moves. Never dated a taurus even though its in the top five. Great conversations with virgos but the two that I have encountered have those damn gemini moons ugh!!!!

I have concluded that me and another fellow fire males make great friends and the sexual chemistry would be out of this world...fire and fire=passion but its not good to cross the line past friendship. A fire guy has to be balanced with like a libra moon (like me) or a earth undertone.

I am in the middle of reading this thread and I have to comment on the capricorn being a workaholic....I was just talking to my sister about my cap mother...she is doing so much, the older she is getting the more she is doing career wise, which is great but I want her to slow down. I don't want her to burn out...

I think Cancer men are way more whiny. I have a best friend who I just scream on the inside when he loses a gf because he whines and begs her so much that I secretly cringe and wanna tell him to grow a pair, that why she left!

I really dont have an issue with Pisces except sometimes they do come off a little slow, but not in a very bad way. The men Ive encountered are something of doormats but its nothing extreme. I can just ask them anything and they'll do it.

I dont know about other capricorn women, but Virgos are not the business for me. Sad because were suppose to be the best compatible but no way. I dated one born in sept then years later one in aug who swore august virgos were better than sept after I told him my bad experience. He turned out to be even worse! They are so analytical and criticize everything to the point that they make no sense.

Ive never heard of the eagle/phoenix thing either and its intriguing.

I'm a Sag and my ex was a Cancer...we were together 6 years. He was the BEST boyfriend/fiancee Ive ever had (Ive had 3 fiancees ) But he was entirely too whiny and sensitive for me. I was constantly aplogizing and hurting his feelings and he always wanted to "talk" and for me to sit up in the house with him. I felt like I was in jail! I m a Sag rising sign in Cancer .I ve had the best relationship with a Cancer but he expected tOo much too soon from me ,he was very generous and emotionally fulfilling,he boosted my confidence like no other ,taught me alot .He has been such an inspiration for me .The Cons were his jelousy,neediness and tantrums .

The sag thing... I know a Cap female married to a Sag male. Before they got married, she used to complain about him being a party boy and sometimes she felt he didn't care about their future because he didn't seem to worry financial security as much as she did. He apparently used to complain about her working all the time (so typically cap!), which she did. They seem to have learned and accepted each other now. Its an interesting combo. Sag's strike me as arrogant!

This is true. Actually Im a fire goat. My moon is in Leo and Mercury is in Sag. Im not the typical Cap and although Im a workaholic, Im also very much a dreamer. My parents( mom and stepdad) are this exact match also and what you said sounds like them. But my stepdad is more social, my mother rather be alone but she is magnetic. I think cap and sags and cap and Leos are power couples.

You are compatible perhaps the fire nature and quick to anger just doesn't translate to a high success rate with marriage. You pretty much need a partner who will put up with the fire nature and just not leave. Or someone who actually admire that nature, air signs. Sometimes I think air signs are better at handling fire signs than other fire signs. I think their mental abilities and reasoning helps the fire signs direct that energy.

Actually this book is based on marriage statistics, not based on the authors opinion of what is best for you. In fact I don't think it's ever been said supposed opposite signs never work at all. Perhaps you are the great exception to the rule? I generally use astrology to help me understand not cast out potential partners unless I tend to have bad luck with them.

There are other important factors about astrology that go further than sun signs.


May I ask what your signs are? Do you know what signs your moon, ascent, Venus, Mercury and Mars are in? For all we know his sign could be located in your house of partnership.

OK that makes more sense, because I've always read that Virgos (me) match up very well with Capricorns (my dh), and this book places Caps near the end of the list for Virgo females. Dh and I are very compatible, I guess because we're both earth signs.
