Yes! THanks HoneyDew. I am about to call her with the number now. :yep:

Only one of my girls would be calling up to the store with the UPC of the hair product so it can be ordered! I love yall!

I really did lol for real. I just asked them about the WWTC and another lady is checking on the Coconut Milk for me. I will let you know.

Now, Priestess says Thai Kitchen Coconut Milk is the way to go. You know Mrs Priestess does not lead us astray! ;)

She sure doesn't. So that's what I will be looking for this weekend! Thank you.:)

Hits:
Silicon Mix
Crom Emergencia
Lacio Lacio
Cinnamon & Sole Rinse
Tresemmes Remoisturize Condish
Tresemmes Anti-Breakage Poo & Condish

This stuff made me end May with my hair in some bangin condition. I'm a Dominican product junkie for life and the top 3 will be staples for sure. I may change up the rinses once in a while, I want to try Silk Worm and Whale Sperm.

Yes, Kroger carries this brand. :D They said it's in the Asian food location. (I only looked in the spanish food section.) I will pick up some of that for this weekend's deep condition. YW

Hits!:D :

Lekair Cholesterol Plus as a pre-poo! Excellent moisture
Luster's Pink Hot oil Treatment-This stuff was THICK like castor oil and it really laid my hair down. I really enjoyed it and I mixed it with my DC Great stuff.

I like I think, But I need to use again:look::

ORS Replenishing Pak. Nice slip, but I think it would be too much protein for the long run. Also not as much slip as motions moisture plus. I think I will stick with the motions.
Africa's Best Organics Liquid Mayo Leave-in. It gave my hair a nice gooey texture for excellent slip, but it made it feel a little rigid. maybe too much protein. I willt ry it again, because I don't know if it was the ORS pak, or the product I am reviewing below.
Just For Me Detangler. Good stuff and it really did help with detangling, but my hair felt kind of rigid. I don't know if it was the Africa's Best or this, so I will use one without the other next weekend.

MMP FOR LIFE!

Yea YEA!:D

Generic Solutions Joico K-Pak Deep Penetrating Reconstructor (from Sally's) - worked great for me, my breakage is almost non-existent now. Plus, it's waaaaaaaaay cheaper than the "real" Joico K-Pak!

BACK UP!! There is a generic one!! I use this stuff like nobody's business. I would love an alternative.

FYI: I've only seen the Thai Kitchen coconut milk at the health food store. They may also sell it at Whole Foods. I've tried the Goya brand at the "regular" grocery store, and it seemed to work well too. I may have to revisit the cheap brands for mixing with DC.

Girl, don't sleep! It works just as well for ME, and since I like to use a lot, this is a much cheaper option. I got a small-ish bottle (8 oz., I think) for something like $5.

Generic Value Products Hair Reconstructor Compare to: Joico K-Pak
264022.jpg
By: Generic Value Products

Sally Item #: 264022
The ultimate intensive protein hair reconstructor which goes beyond strengthening & actually rebuilds & improves the quality & structure of hair - a must for chemically-treated or severely-damaged hair.
Size: 8 fl oz
Generic Value Products were formed because a group of experienced chemists and marketing people knew they could produce at “popular prices” a product as good as the “higher priced” quality name brand. Hair Reconstructor compares to Joico K-Pak in ingredient and function – but not price!
Rich in Cationic Triamine Complex Formula, which is unsurpassed in bringing damaged hair back to optimum condition
Penetrates into areas of extreme protein and moisture damage
Adds fantastic body, shine, manageability
Maintains condition of healthy hair

Usage Tips
Use weekly, or as needed, to restore and maintain health of hair. For daily cleansing and conditiong, use Generic Value Products Hydrating Shampoo and conditioning Balm.

Girl, I am all over this. I am tired of sending Joico all my cash.

You guys are too cute! Thai Kitchen is great stuff it's a little pricier but well worth it. Just think of the yummiest cone free conditioner you can think of and you've got Thai Kitchen. I get mine from the supermarket (A&P) the one full fat one with the red label. It smells like coconuts too. :lick:

P.S. Hey Tee I followed your directions for multiple quotes to well... a tee! It worked!

hit: all the dominican products...

miss key 10 en 1
Aguacate Rinse
amla oil

I need to get on this use it up challenge, so i can go to a straight dominican routine.

Hits:
Suave Clarifying Poo
Pre-pooing with homemade concoction (EVOO, Suave M&H Con, Jojoba Oil, Hot Sixx Oil)
Hot Sixx Oil to seal ends
Lacio Lacio Leave-In Conditioner to rollerset (my hair is *blinging*)
All my beloved Dominican products (Nacidit Olive Oil Poo, Rinse and Avocado Conditioner)

Misses:
Rollersetting dry hair by just spritzing the ends. (Had so many tangles and experienced some breakage and it took forever to dry) :(

JBCO on my ends - I have to admit...I was sleeping on this, but I tried it last night and WOW   !!! My ends were so soft and supple this morning. I wish I would've tried this sooner.

Hits:

Mizani Thermasmooth Shampoo and Conditioner
(good stuff, the shampoo is really moisturizing and detangles the hair nicely...I don't know if it makes my hair any "straighter" but definitely easier to comb thru)

Qhemet Biologics Soften & Hydrate Sampler Pack
(wow!!!....I love all of these products, I love the way they feel, the nice ingredients, and the subtle fragrance. I used the Olive & Honey Hydrate balm for my braidout today, and it made it look so shiny and smells wonderful...Qhemet products will definitely be new staples of mine.)

Misses:

Mizani Thermasmooth Heat Protectant Serum
(super thick, sticky mess, weighed my hair down so much that I almost had to rewash....me no likey)

Joico Straightening Balm
(sticky, stinky, does not help with straighening, I do not like Joico's styling products, but their 'poos and cons are great!)

Two questions for ya!

Did the ORS burn your scalp (do you normally burn)?

And the K/C conditioner, does it give as much slip as humecto?

I actually liked the Mizani serum. But for the 2nd use, I did not like it as much. I realized that my conditioner was weighing my hair down to start with. I was using the Mane N Tail that has wax in it and my hair started to get stupid. I stopped using that conditioner and went back to my Other products (Qhemet's Sidr Tree Butter Balm and Fantasia IC serum0 and my hair is back to normal. I am going to try that Mizani again after my next touchup. That stuff is too ezpensive to waste. :perplexed

I did not like that Joico, either. It was kinda stinky. Joico needs to just stick with the shamposs and conditioners!

LOL, I know right, you would think since their poos/cons are so good they would know how to make their styling products just as good, but I guess not. such a shame, such a shame, lol

Yeah, girl I am loving Qhemet's products, I remember your review on her Sidr Tree Butter Balm, I will be getting that next.....

yeah, I don't know what I'm going to do about that Mizani Serum, maybe it'll work for one of my family members' hair.;)
