I must add another hit:

ION Conditioning Hard Bonnet Hair Dryer

I bought it a few days ago because it has an oversized bonnet for my big rollers, makes my hair very smooth and moisturized and has a hot, medium, low and cool setting - I am using the cool setting only to speed up the airdryiing with no heat.

BTW, it's on sale at Sally's through January 31 with a $4.00 off coupon and a bigger discount if you have a Sally's card.

Hey Isis!!

Where did you get the $4 coupon? In one of those mags in the store? How much was it after the coupon and after the Sally's card discount? I only want one for deep conditioning.. would one of those soft bonnet one's be just as good for that?? Anyone know??

Thanks!

Hits: Biolage Ultra Hydrating Balm
Roux Porosity Control Shampoo and Conditioner
LUST (aren't I inexcusably late to the party?)

Misses: Not nary a one. January was a beautiful month :)!

Biolage Conditioning Balm-great conditioner, thick but creamy and moisturizing. Definitely a keeper. I was going to purchase the Keracare Humecto, but now I don't need to. I like this so much more!! I can't wait to try the Ultra Hydrating formula...

I tried Kenra shampoo again since I've purchased it and I really really loooooveeee it!! I am so happy with it!!

Hits:
Rediscovered Kenra Intensive Emollient. Major softness and slip. I had even shapooed twice and thought my hair would end up hard. This just turned my hair into silk. I last used this when my hair was natural. It's great for relaxed or natural hair.

All of my hits are actually revisits.

Elucence Acidfying shampoo as a regular shampoo. My hair came out way softer and detangled than when I use Elucence Moisture Benefits Shampoo.
Ouidad Triple Deep Conditioning treatment using: Elucence MB conditioner, Elucence EMRT, and Keraphix Reconstructor.
Nexxus Ensure Acidifying conditioner for 10 minutes after Deep Conditioning.
Dollop of Elucence MB conditioner and Silk Elixir as a leave-in before rollersetting.

That combination is pure silk for my hair. My hair had been tangling so bad, that I dreaded washing and combing it. I was actually considering a haircut to just start over. Tangles just slipped out and my rollerset is perfect this morning. It's soft and moisturized and shiny - I'm so happy!

Miss:
Elucence Moisture Benefits Shampoo. I thought that my hair didn't like the MB conditioner, but as it turns out - my hair actually hates the shampoo. That was the cause of all my tangly, rough feeling hair.

Hit: Sta Sof fro(love it) Evoo(love the shine it gives w/out weighting my hair down
Miss: DDTA(daily defense Tender Apple) not enough slip for me!
Conditioner washes: I tried it for a week did not like the results. I tend to lose more hair. Will no longer do.

***I have been using The Affirm Substance conditioner. This gives amazing slip & my hair is extremely soft afterwards. Especially after using a Strong protein treatment (Aphogee).***

I would like to add Elucence EMRT to my hits. This is great when combined with the Elucence MB Conditioner.

Oh Boy!!!! Don't get me started!!!! I already love the Shampoo and the MB conditioner! The Elixir is the BOMB too

Neutragena's Triple Moisture Serum! A Hit! The first serum that made my hair soft and shiny! All the other serums that I've tried only dried out my hair!
This is one yummy product for the hair. I LOVE it. I'm glad you like it too.

I saw that Nexxus had a sale on duo products at a store near my job. Therapee and humectress. I tried this on my daughters hair and it was wonderful. Another line added for me to use on her.

Tried the therapee on my hair and I think I liked it. I need to try this again. Tried the humectress and it did nothing for me. No slip whatsoevah. Why oh why can't I just stick to the plan!!!! :wallbash: I had to rescue it with some Kenra to make it feel normal again.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY do u say this about the beloved NTM????

*tear drop*

Fletgee...after you rinse out the conditioner....how are you detangling your hair???
****************************
Hi Lady!

NTM and all Neutrogena products effect my hair this way.
I wind up tearing these large matted knots out of my hair! I can feel and hear my hair ripping out. As for detangling..I learned 5 years ago to start at the bottom and work my way gently up.

Me and Neutrogena cannot co-exist!

Hits:
Motions after shampoo conditioner
Soft and beautiful leave in sealed with olive oil
Vasline on ends
Ponytail method with magnetic roller

Misses:
Rollersets with surge
Putting too many products on my hair everyday

I received and bought gifts for myself.

Hits:
Nacidit Olive Oil Shampoo- Left hair clean, without buildup. Period.
Nacidit Olive Oil Crema Conditioner- Slip, Slip, Slip.
Miss Key 10 en 1 Super Rinse
Lafier Desrizol Rinse + Olive Oil Added = Slip, Slip, Slip.
S-Curl + Diluted Infusium + Oil Mix (Proclaim 7 Oil, EO, and H2O) as a daily leave-in for braids. When I took my braids out, I had damage free hair!

Deep Brilliance Reconstruct was given to me as a gift and worked very well but I do not believe I will buy it. The conditioner had the Slip-Shine-Strength Ratio on point.

Misses:
John Freida Bleach Blonde Oil- I will never impulse buy again :nono: This left my hair extremely tacky.

I had so much fun in January, as you can see! HHG everyone.

Hits:

Shea Moisture leave-in conditioner. I've been searching for a creamy leave-in for hair when it's dry as opposed to just-washed or damp. This has a great smell, is not greasy and moisturizes wonderfully.

Raw Shea Butter Daily Moisture Mist. Fantastic. It has a little bit of protein in it, so I spray sparingly at night. So far, my hair feels healthy and strong.

Design Essentials no-lye relaxer. I'm a no-lye girl for life, and this is the best relaxer I've ever used.

Dove anti-frizz cream. Doesn't have the icky stickiness of most anti-frizz serums.

Giovanni's shine spray. Nice for an added touch of shine. Smeells good, too.

Misses:

Soft & Beautiful (?) anti-breakage kit. Garbage on my hair. Left it rough and tangled.

Frederic Fekkai anti-frizz serum. Pricey, heavy and blah.

Can't wait to try:

Salerm Super Activo. I hope I get the same awesome results as other ladies on the board.

Propoline conditioner and shampoo. Costly, but supposedly worth every penny.

For the first time in years I DID NOT BUY any hair products in January and I'm not buying any in February....and probably none in March.
Actually I fell in love with baking soda and water.
