Elasta QP Mango butter!!!
I love this stuff and im not big on moisturizers. Its not oily at all. It really smoothes my ends and doesn't leave it greasy. The smell is also a huge plus ;)

Hits:
Elucence Moisturizing Shampoo
Elucence MB Conditioner (boy am I sorry I slept on these products :) )
Elucence Elixir

Jury Still Out:
Elucence Foam (?) for wet sets

Hits
Another vote for DDTA (Daily Defense Tender Apple Conditioner) LOVE THIS CHEAP STUFF!!!
Sta Sof Fro (helps keep my new growth in check)
MNT poo/cond (proud member of the MNT users club)

revisits
co washes (being 3mos post relaxed, i can't see how I lived w/o these)
Ion Hard Hat Dryer (only used for my weekly deep cond tx)
ORS Olive Oil Hair Lotion (my hair "hated it" in the past, but now provides great moisture)

The jury is still out on (and almost close to becoming a miss): Nioxin Smoothing Shampoo and Conditioner.

I haven't been too happy with my hair during combout. The shampoo dries my hair out, the conditioner doesn't provide enough slip. I started using the shampoo for one wash only, then following up with Elucence Moisturizing shampoo - it seemed to work at first, now my hair is feeling dry again. I also started using a bit of GPB with the conditioner - GPB usually provides my hair with TONS of slip - it didn't really help.

I am thisclose to going back to my staple products: Elucence Moisturizing Shampoo, Elucence Moisturizing Conditioner, Aubrey's GPB and Biolage Conditioning Balm.

Can you describe the Porosity Control Extreme Pak?

I threw the pak away. I used it as a mild reconstructor. But, here is the info from the website, "Porosity Control Extreme Pak: Step 3 in the triple protection haircare system. Weekly treatment that delivers intense conditioning to dry, porous or damaged hair. Equalizes hair’s porosity for new elasticity and styling ease. Can be used daily or weekly." I used the shampoo and followed the extreme pak with the regular conditioner.

Jury Still Out

S&B Botanicals Braids Herbal hair and Scalp Mist

Good in small amounts, but leaves TONS of build up when used for a long periods of time.

Hits: Elasta Shampoo for relaxed hair
Joico K-pak
Clairol Renewal 5x conditioner--WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL on my daughters 3b hair. Detangles instantly and leaves it very soft. I need to try it for myself!
GNC ULTRANOURISHAIR--Can't believe I ever stopped using this. My hair seems to be growing in faster. Looking forward to my next touch-up to see just how much I got, but right now it feels like I have 3 months worth of newgrowth in two months  .

HITS

Lacio Lacio mixed with serum (yum-yum!)
Jojoba oil for Baggie Method

MISSES

NTM Shampoo and Conditioner-The hair products by Neutrogena make my hair come out! They seem to work fine when I use them. But when it's time for my comb out I can just hear my hair ripping and tearing out with knots the size of a .50 cent piece! (yuk-yuk-yuk)

ON THE FENCE ABOUT

Dr. Miracle's Temple and Neck Balm-Just starting it. Will see how it goes.

Thanks. I'll have to look for it

ORS Twist and Lock Gel (Hope I got the name right!)

Hit: (not a product) Dusting. I didn't know what it was but now I live by it. No more major trims unless i need them!

Miss: Wildgrowth Hair Oil- What a rip! There's nothing special about it, and it stinks.

Neutragena's Triple Moisture Serum! A Hit! The first serum that made my hair soft and shiny! All the other serums that I've tried only dried out my hair!

-Myhoneychild "My hair needs a type 3 hair creme".....I absolutely love this product! It is very moisturizing for my hair, I love the fact that it has all natural ingredients, I love the scent, and it made my 1st ever bantu knot-out turn out beautifully! It also defines the texture in my new growth very well.

-Myhoneychild "My hair needs a type 4 hair creme".....This creme is also ultra moisturizing and defines the texture in my new growth very well.

No misses yet!

I must add another hit:

ION Conditioning Hard Bonnet Hair Dryer

I bought it a few days ago because it has an oversized bonnet for my big rollers, makes my hair very smooth and moisturized and has a hot, medium, low and cool setting - I am using the cool setting only to speed up the airdryiing with no heat.

BTW, it's on sale at Sally's through January 31 with a $4.00 off coupon and a bigger discount if you have a Sally's card.
