HITS
1. Alfaparf semi di lino serum- I cant believe I was EVER sleeping on this It is the absolute best. Its almost like a light oil that gives and incredible non- greasy shine. I LOVE IT!

2. NO- wrap method: Instead of wrapping my hair every night, this month I have just been pinning my hair on top of my head and wrapping it loosely under a silk scarf, with a satin bonnet on top. I have been able to maintain and fully, shiney curly hairstyle that I can can just shake and go when I take my hair down in the morning- no combing or anything!

Myhoneychild's Lemon Hair Puding Lotion—I like the way it makes my hair look, feel and smell :lick: , but it has little bits of lemon in it. It looks like I have boogers in my hair. :( I use it when I know I won't be going anywhere where people will get close to me.

Yuck, you've got boogies in your hair!!!:lachen:

Hits:
-Baking Soda Rinse (instead of shampoo)  - left my hair and scalp extremely clean without being stripped or dry
-Coconut oil mixed with honey (added to regular conditioner = great deep conditioner)
-Profectiv Megagrowth (great oil-based creamy moisturizer)
-Rosemary Chamomile Herbal Tea Rinse (great leave-in and moisturizer)

no misses :)

HIT!!
Elucence Silk Hydrating Elixir. I had used it before now, but not the same way I use it now--as a blowdrying agent AND as a daily moisturizer. Oh my word. I ain't NEVA givin' this stuff up. My hair has never been so silky.

Miss :(
Frizz Ease Extra Strength Smooth Control conditioner. It came free with the extra strength serum I just bought, so I figured I'd try it. It's just too much for my fine hair. Made it feel all coated and icky. I washed it out and used my tried and true Jason Sea Kelp conditioner. I used to use the original frizz ease con back when it was called Glistening Creme and it was good stuff. Maybe I just need the regular strength, or maybe my hair just doesn't respond to it the same way anymore. Whatever. I ain't cryin cuz it was free

Jury's still out on the extra strength serum because I haven't used it yet. After washing out the conditioner I was afraid the serum would be too much too so I just went on with my regimen as usual. "If it ain't broke..." you know the rest

- Aubrey's GPB (new formula) the new bottle says to apply to dry hair 15 mins before shampooing for deep conditioning. Loved the results!

Yeah, Yeah I know I'm slow! This is the best stuff ever. Now I am on a mission to find out how I can get this stuff the cheapest way possible because my new bottle is going so quick!

HITS:
S-Curl Activator
B&B Oil moisturizer (a better alternative to Pink oil)
coconut oil
Elasta Mango Butter

A Big Ol' Miss with me:
LeKair Cholesterol conditioner (peach color): No matter what hair texture, natural or relaxed, this stuff is just garbage on my hair.

HITS
Phytospecific Intense Nutrition Shampoo
Ion Soft Bonnet Hairdryer

MISSES
Phytospecific Vital Force Conditioner
Phytospecific Intense Nutrition Conditioner
After I used them I had no slip, way more breakage then I am accustomed to, and the ends of my hair felt hard and crispy. But since I paid sooo much money for them, I think I might try them as occasional deep protein treaments followed up with my usual Moisturing Conditioner.

Hit:
Neutrogena Triple Moisture Mask

No misses.
I'm not buying unfamiliar ish! Only restocking tried and true.

I didn't buy any new hair stuff...except for my second Caruso roller system!

Hits:
Dipping my Good Hair Day pins in oil (idea originating from Boadicea)
I just now tried it for the first time.

Oops! I guess I have to scratch the Caruso from this post since I bought it at Christmas.

Profectiv Mega Moisturizer (pink in the bottle)-I picked this up totally by accident and I am very pleased with the results. It's light but thick enough to really moisturize the hair without weighing it down.

Nexxus Emergencee-used it the proper way, washing it out with Botanoil. It still clumps my hair together but Kenra MC rescued it and I like the strength that it gives to my hair.

Kenra MC-just purchased it after trying it months ago. It's like heaven, the slip and the moisture it provides.

All Ways Castor Oil grease with Indian Hemp-I've always liked indian hemp grease and this combination works very well with my hair.

Went back to:
Nexxus Botanoil Shampoo-very cleansing and nourishing shampoo. I always feel like it's really working and treating my hair.

Terme Protein Treatment-I think this is a Dominican condr., it works really well as a protein combo treatment

Still to try:
Biolage Conditioning Balm

Hits  :

Elucence (my new obsession  )
Clarifying Volumizing Poo
Moisture Benefits Poo
Moisture Balancing Conditioner

Revisited: Hot Oil w/Shea, EVOO, Castor & Avocado Oil

Misses:
I haven't been in the experimenting mood :nono:
