I think I do. :look: I don't think I have the features to pull off super short hair. I've seen some ladies who can rock them well...and I've seen some ladies with long beautiful hair who better hope it stays on their heads. :lachen:

What about you? Do you NEED hair or would you be attractive without it. How much of short-haired attractiveness relies on natural beauty vs. makeup/accessories/attitude. Share your thoughts!

Nope, sure don't. Hair is just a compliment of who I am. But, it doesn't MAKE me. I hope you know what I mean.

Just like cancer survivors..I think I'd be one of those women who'd rock their bald/buzz cuts. I think a woman is beautiful regardless of what is on her head. But, that's just me.

Nope. I'm cute either way. Although I work on the physical aspects of me it is far more important to me to be attractive from the inside out.

I don't think hair makes a woman beautiful, she's just an unfortunate looking woman with pretty/long hair. I will say though, if a woman doesn't have any hair there isn't much to take the focus off her more unattractive features. I've also seen pretty girls with EFFED up hair...and they were still pretty, but I wanted to do something to their hair...

I don't think I need hair to BE attractive but I need it to FEEL attractive if that makes sense? Kinda like I feel ugly and like a boy if I don't wear earrings....or I don't feel attractive if I'm wearing celie braids...but I know I still am because of responses that I get lol

Nope. Back in my weaving days I always thought I looked better with longer hair, but that changed when I did the BC.

Even though I still plan to grow my hair as long as I can, I actually think I look more striking with short hair!

I think I'll wear it back a lot!

Nope. When I cut my hair into the mohawk, I got soooo many compliments but I got just as many with my APL hair...I just tell myself I'm the s*** either way and you know what India says, "I am not my hair!..." LOL

i definitely think i would need hair. I DO NOT have the head shape for a pixie type of cut. Even tho i loooooooove pixie cuts. I would seriously look a HAM if i sported one

I don't think I am less attractive without hair but I feel like I look more boyish. Still attractive... but in a little boyish kind of way, if that makes sense. Lol.
A pretty boy maybe? Hahaha.
I am one of the ones who can't pull off super-short hair unless I have a swoop bang or something, especially since I have a round face and big ol forehead.

No. In fact, on numerous occasions I got Halle Berry. And many guys that were interested in me would comment that they'd usually only deal with women with long hair.

Anyway, I think my short-haired attractiveness was due to my cute face, nice shaped head, always done eyebrows and upper lip, clear skin, my Colgate smile , and being slim/fit. I didn't rely too much on makeup or accessories, though I always had stud earrings on.

I've been at both ends of the spectrum, long hair does not make me more attractive but it certainly doesn't hurt either.

I just don't think I have the head shape to really pull it off. I see many other ladies that have BC'd and look HOT! My BC has been a real journey in acceptance.

MY first BC I hid under wigs. Once I got some length I still never fell in love with my natural hair. This second BC I've decided to embrace and really care for my hair from the start.

I still long for the days to have a twist out reach APL or BSL. I'm just enjoying the ride for now -big forehead and all. Lol

I don't think I am less attractive without hair but I feel like I look more boyish. Still attractive... but in a little boyish kind of way, if that makes sense. Lol.

Girl with those dimples and that cute face, with or without hair Im not seeing boyish nowhere!!!

I just love hair, so I feel more comfortable with more of it then less of it.

My face is round and my cheeks are chubby so I have to be careful about short haircuts. I don't need long hair to be attractive, but it's easier to have a flattering hair style with long hair.

I have pulled off a short style before but it was by force, not choice! I do much better with longer hair and to me its easier to manage....ponytail, bun, etc!

When I had a fade I liked it, but everyone thought I was a boy :ohwell: I did enjoy the decrease in catcalling and unwanted male attention though.

I think it depends on the individual.

The most compliments I've gotten on my hair is when it's short. When I was wearing a short length wig I got a lot of compliments too. Now that I'm thinking about it, why am I trying to grow my hair long?! Someone pass me the scissors. :giggle:

For me, I look better with short hair. Long hair ages me IMO. When I was shaved bald I had to absolutley make sure I was girly at all times with big hoop earrings to offset the fact that I was bald. My DH hated it, but everybody else thought I was fly, including me :giggle:

eh, I've never tried short hair before
but from what I see, with my hair pulled back :nono: I am not the one that can pull off a short hair doo. My features are too full for that (lips, nose, eyes, cheeks....everything's big on me! lol)
So I guess it's safe to say that HAIR does do me justice :yep:

Yes, and tbh I think most people do. Not necessarily waist length, but at least neck/shoulder

of course I'm one of those people who thinks that Halle looks much much better w/ longer hair

I don't NEED long hair to be attractive.

I once cut my hair to about 1-2 inches and I got the most compliments......more than with BSL hair.
