it was a joke.

i graduated 2 years ago. my views on life are always evolving and changing. i only speak what i know and believe is true at the time. my opinions on things even a year ago were different. i never said otherwise. dismissing my opinion because you think my age = X amount of experience isn't really necessary (or true as you see. last time i went to a college campus was to hire).

and i'm a woman.
I don't dismiss all of your advice or opinions I just take it for what its worth. We can all learn from each other no matter what age. Chile if you were a woman you wouldn't have to announce it when your elder speaks the truth. I'm sure you are blossoming into quite a young woman but you ain't all woman YET!:lachen:

So...Chewed off peen gate was epic, no?

I want to know who spoiled the fun by reporting posts.

Gaaah! I just got baby fever like you wouldn't believe. Heading out of the office and had a long conversation with my boss's 3 year old daughter, this adorable little brown girl in bouncy pigtails. She's showing me how she can topple over the couch in our lounge and how quickly she can do it, and telling me about her summer. "No, I didn't go to Colorado. Well, when I was little." I asked her, so you're big now? And she nodded with so much resolution. So freaking cute. Then when I told her I was leaving, she was like well, I'm coming with you lol, and she walked me to the door and held it open for me.

Just a few months ago she was shy and barely talked to me:lol: but she's always looking at me when I wear my hair out. I'm imagining that she's thinking: you have puffs? I have puffs too!:look:

This might have made my Friday lol.

Ladies, please... try to keep this thread on topic. We're receiving complaints about the tone of this thread. Thanks.

i really don't think he knows any better also. (comes from meager beginnings)
Meager beginnings often makes alot of folks want to branch out/live a little more but oh well.

We have loads of invites for this weekend. I have to be fair and at least spend a few hours with his side of the family. I don't wannaaaaaaaa:look:

He bought the freshest tasting Salmon I've had in eon's from his supervisor. I told him you need to get the deets about that fishing boat excursion so you can go get us our own fresh catch!!! That man gave the whole shop at least one huge salmon each, which was gutted and vacuumed sealed on the spot. OMG I have to have more ASAP. We've been eating grilled salmon salads daily. I'm in heaven.................................. I'm checking around online right now so I can get this man on a fishing expedition boat!!!!!:grin:

Although she no longer posts on here, I know a lot of us really valued Bunny77's posts on this part of the board, so I wanted to share that she had a baby boy today. :)

My FB news feed has been filled with babies, engagements and marriages- it's pretty damn cool. :yep:

Wow, this thread has been all over the place.

Hope you guys are doing well and are happy this weekend. I haven't posted much lately since I started taking a couple of classes and I'm busy helping my middle schooler who was recently diagnosed with ADHD. One of my most fascinating learnings is that our children come into our lives to teach us lessons. As a parent you think I must teach my children this and that, like that is my job. But I am seeing it goes both ways if we open our hearts and minds to it. Our children are little beings that teach us patience, understanding, and often that we are wrong and need to take another path. We are learning and teaching within our little family unit (me, hubby, two daughters) and it's a beautiful thing.

This fall I will be very busy doing things I must do and doing things I love and want to do. My cup is overflowing and I am grateful for that. So my posts will be few and far between because I am happy and busy.

If I could combine these 3 guys into 1 person he would be the perfect man.

Guy A: Money, helpfulness, determination
Guy B: Personality, thoughtfulness, selflessness, humor
Guy C: Looks, peen, overall demeanor/confidence

Omg he thinks red lobster is expensive! *face palm* thats a taurus for you smh

I don't see anything wrong with that. If he's a good man with a good job and kind, I think that is what is important. The finer things are cool but what really matters and what stays with you and makes a difference in your life is having someone to count on, hold your hand, and love you. I just think someone thinking RL is expensive is no big deal at all. Focus on the big picture which for most of us is love, companionship, and support.

I think it depends on how important it is to you and also how he handled it. Is he a cheapskate, or does he just not get out much. I wouldn't be happy with someone who was cheap and always complaining about how much things cost, so that would be a problem. Or if he didn't ever want to take me out and wanted to stay at home because it's cheaper.
