I appreciate the threads on this CF that are uplifting, encourage, and especially the ones that are about praising God. Unfortunately, it seems they are competing with threads that purposely rouse anger and debate, which results in a display of disrespect between members. It's been going on for awhile now, and I pray that it will end.

It's a 'Junk Drawer.'
We ALL have them in our home....even those of us who don't like a whole lot of 'stuff' in our home....yup, we have them too!
You can find everything in those drawers.....all kinds of stuff. If you can't find that one thing, its more than likely in the junk drawer!
We must be in the practice though, of cleaning out that drawer cause it gets full to the point that we are not able to close or open the drawer any longer.
The same with our soul....sometimes there is just too much 'junk' in there and we must 'clean it out' so that we can receive from the Lord the way He desires. We can tell when its 'full' cause of what comes out of our mouths (or in the case on the CF, what we type).....plain ole junk.
That's all I can give right now...I'm in the process of cleaning out my 'junk drawer!'

It won't end anytime soon, sis. Its a revolving door that continues because of the heart.
However, it's a learning tool too! The devil plays dirty...he knows that when the praises go up, the blessings come down. he doesn't want the people to receive from the Lord, so he throws 'stuff' and see who is going to catch it. There will be those who will put up their shield against it and there will be those who catch it. BUT, there will be those who learn how it is thrown and then pray that it cease, cause it ain't got no business here where the Spirit of the Lord is!!!
As long as we continue to pray and praise the Father.....together, we will see change. Until then......

Seriously, this is a junk drawer. A quick stach of items that we are in a hurry to place out of sight when company comes. It can range from anything and nothing there has anything to do with the other items in the shared hiding space. There's confusion among the occupants of this space, let alone, disorder.
It's time to get the junk out, toss it or clean it and put it away where it truly belongs. Drawers are meant for organizing not clutter.
Here is wisdom......

Don't get too comfortable in the season your in.Are you on a journey or are you planted? If your on a journey you can't stay at one place for too long.At times the time isn't the time we would think.
I left my job yesterday.I walk into another one on Feb 13th.It's been a journey and many prayers that God don't let this be in vain.But God...
I will miss my friend/supervisor.But as he told me Friday as you progress God will place the people needed for your growth.Some of you older ladies don't believe that your too old to be grown.I will miss his bald head but I know with all the lessons he taught me and love he shared me I can share it with others and always dip into that reserve when needed.He showed me I'm ok and worth where I am now..not when I get skinny,when I have good money,or have the things I desire but I'm great right now..I did do well even when I don't think so..Lord I thank you for him and continue to bless him and his family.
I have fallen back from this section for many reasons.I never want to ruffle feathers as I know its better to walk away than to make a mockery of the body.I'm flawed like so many.I desire to be this perfect little christian but you know what it ain't happening..my edge won't allow it..one day I will be calm like a river and consistent in all things..until then I will grow and lurk.

Is that what you feel like you were doing? There is only One perfect...and His name is Jesus. There are no perfect little christians.

I can't think of one thing that you have ever said or did to ruffle any feathers. If nothing more, you have been among the most honest and open here among us. Your love for God is not hidden nor second guessed. It's obviously, obvious.
As for perfection, in so many ways, I can truly say, you are most close to perfection than most people that I have ever known. I can say this because it's true. I thank God for you. I 'worry' when I don't see you posting. I miss seeing your picture perfect smiles and the most beautiful eyes which tell of a woman who has nothing to give but her heart. You've lived a life of seasoned woman who has much to share in wisdom and in love. How far you have come in this life and how much further you have still to go.
For me to be such ... would be honourable. When I grow up, I want to be as beautiful as you.
And yes...
You are perfectly beautiful inside and out.

The astrology thread is bumped however the last post is 12-9-2011. So how does that happen?

All it does is keep us sharp and on our knees all the more.well lately the board has been seeing an increase in activity with the vision board thread, guess they're trying to incite even more 'activity' round here..

Thank you ladies for the congrats..I feel great that the season has changed a bit.I wish I could take my supervisor with me,he is a gem.
I think as I grow certain things I use to never question I am now.I use to think I would marry,be finacially successful,and be this loving christian woman.All of these things are up for debate right now.No pity but just realistic.I thought my walk would take away the feelings I have but that isn't totally the way it is. I thought once I grew up pain from the past or other issues would subside they have to a significant degree.The love I once wanted from family I have totally given up on.I wasn't created in a neat enough family without so many generation chains to get love from a mother or father the way I desired.Im 26 now so that can't be something desired..Im almost over the hill in my eyes 30 will be here soon if allowed to see it...
My last thought for a while is the issues within the AA community and church.Its like esp in hood area they are just trying to appease the kids they aren't trying to help them grow,discipline them or anything.Then when I see the adults your still playing church and playing games and the deep issues of why so many baby mama's or why so many dl dudes is rampant.Why so many bitter people but they say they are in love with Jesus.So many with the drama theatrics in the church but no real substance coming forth..let me stop for I get stoned.

This Christian forum has been under attack ever since it was opened by the administrators. It was opened so that the Christian members of this forum could freely have prayer and of course have discussions about their faith and walk in the Lord.
Prior, the OT (off topic) area of the forum was where Christians communicated with each other. The attack upon the Christians in OT was so bad, something had to be done to stop the maddness.
However, there is a great irony going on:
There has always be great controversy about the Christians of LHCF having their own separate forum. Hence, the attacks which stem from those who want to sabotage it.
I do not like the discussions that I have been in; I never have. The only thing I want to do is to encourage and pray as God leads and for those who sincerely desire me to do so.
What I will not do is yield to an invironment where anything and everything goes... in other words, compromising the Word of God or watering down the presence of God. I am up to my roots with the world being mixed into Christianity where it should not be.
Maybe I'm expecting too much; having a area of the forum where God is honoured and respected. Not just because a person says, Jesus, anyone can say His name, but because He is truly Honoured in this place.
This forum as a whole is such a disrespect to God, and to the administrator who is a Christian. The language, the support of alternative lifestyles, threads supporting the occult....
The members who do this are just rude and disrespectful. I'd venture to say some are being spiteful and on purpose.I find myself 'fighting' for our Christian forum. We have numerous members here who truly love God and deserve to have a place of honoring Him without interference. I will not sit still and say nothing when the enemy tries to seep in here with his garbage. I refuse to see 'Icabod' hanging a shingle over the threshold of our Christian forum.
"Healthy Hair" it is not by accident that both you and 'Nice & Wavy prayed for unity, the fire and the power of God to be within our hearts; for us to turn from the world and unto God and to one another.
The two of you have prayed prayers of conviction and repentence on the Prayer Line and it is not by accident that this has been done.
The posts made by sidney are a timely message of the importance for the Body of Christ to be without compromise.
We need the presence of God and we have to prepare a place of welcome for Him to abide here among and within our hearts.
This place is not just a 'forum'; we each spend way too much time in here to allow it to be in vain.
I hope my post isn't offense nor appearing to be self righteous. I am just plain out of games and I willl not tolerate the enemy's foolishness.
I thank God for Laela 's Praise thread. I can't help but think of Joshua and the walls that fell.... and all with a shout.
