Jamila Henna..... I will probaly never try another brand again...This gave me the best experience I ever had with a henna:reddancer:... rinse sooo clean..NO Tangles,No Dryness!!:happydance:..just good strength, thickness, and shine..New Staple

This was my experience with Jamila henna!! I loved it!! I could not believe how well it rinsed!

DOUBLE HIT!
This is the most AWESOME Stuff on the Planet to me right now!
I used it last night as a DC and my hair is still soft, fluffy and smooth at the same time. My hair normally sheds alot with at least some breakage no matter what products or techniques I use, and since last night I have only lost 4 strands. 4 strands! Unbelievable!

WOW, just plain WOW!

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm......

Ummm, Tee, your hair is looking kinda fly in your profile. :yep: Nice!!!

Thanks Brownie518.

You know I love coming to read the reviews. My cousins dont lead me astray. ;)

*You know I laughed at you about the taste of the Oyin Juice and Berries. :giggles: I have a few of those :rolleyes:moments too. <--End All Hair Balm is one.

You had a good month :yep:

How did you use your alma powder, I have a box of hesh alma too. I might need to seriously think about revisting Kenra.

Yes a good month indeed!! Yes u should def revisit Kenra :yep:It knocked my old moisturizing conditioner out the box ...

For the Amla I do it 2 different ways
As a prepoo, I take like 1 Tb of Amla and add realy hot water to it just enough so that its loose let it sit for 15min, then mix it with conditioner and oils and put it on my hair w/ plastic cap under the dryer for 30min.
It makes my hair sooooooo silky, realy full, soft but strong

The other way is when I do a henna. I mix the hot water to the Amla first and let sit for 15 min then add to already mixed henna. Then apply to damp already pre-pooed hair

Thanks. I will have to try that. I tried Kenra some time ago, long before I was into hair for real for real  I might pick up a little gift set or something from Trade Secret this holiday season.

LaBella tropical mango plus rainforest water conditioner

Vo5 Moisture Milks honeydew smoothie

Both are big hits and leave my hair very silky, moisturized and detangled. LaBella's tropical banana is also wonderful, but it smells like banana candy and I cannot tolerate too sweet smells. Anyway, LaBella products have wonderful ingredients for not alot of money -- $4.99 for a liter. The smoothie isn't very thick and I have already used up half a bottle in two uses, but it is an absolutely wonderful conditioner with some wonderful ingredients for 96 cents. I am going back to Big Lots and buy five more bottles.

ETA: Hit - Back to Basics Sunflower Detangling Leave-in Mist

ETA Again: Breck Restorative Conditioner from the dollar store. What another absolutely wonderful conditioner with great ingredients for a dollar.

In the laundry room... I was down to hardly any conditioner, but a trip to Dollar Tree and Big Lots netted me 13 new bottles of conditioner in a week all for under a dollar each. The LaBella I ordered about three weeks ago from Beauty of New York. The mango was hard to find so maybe LaBella has discontinued it.

Hit: Herbal Essence Dangerously Straight

I was in KMart and I saw this. I remembered the good reviews on it, and since it was only $3, I got the shampoo and the conditioner. The shampoo is nothing to write home about, the conditioner is LOVELY!! Detangled on contact, very moisturizing. My hair is sooo smooth and sleek. The poo and con both smell very good too.

Thanx yall

Hits: My new dryer!

9d67_1.JPG

I was actually able to fit my whole head under it, it dried easily throughout (no wet areas left over and having to reposition myself), and I FINALLY completed a rollerset! Usually I will get half way dry, wrap my hair, and throw on my du-rag.

Mizani Puriphying Shampoo was a suprise. I expected it to strip my hair, but it felt great. It didn't lather like I'd like, but I can't complain-- I got it for $2.98 at the Penny's sale.

No misses :yep:! Finally realized pjism is my hair's enemy!

I love this shampoo and it is my staple clarifier! It is a great clarifier w/o stripping the hair.

Another DOUBLE HIT!

Co-signing on ^ product.

I applied generously and used my heating cap for 30 minutes and then let sit for another 30 minutes to cool down before rinsing.
  • Smells great! A nice clean, fresh scent, not too strong, but just right.
  • works great - lots of slip. I easily detangled my hair after rinsing and it made my hair smooth and fragranced.
  • not too expensive either!
I had looked high and low for it and finally decided to purchase the 3-jar pack from Amazon.com. Wouldn't you know that 2 days later, I went to the Stop & Shop around the corner from my home and there on the shelf in the Beauty Aids section was all the PRNBDM I could want.

Silicon Mix - Very moisturizing, even when I left it on for 10 minutes with no heat.

Salerm 21 - This leave-in is a little thick but I think it really contributed to me not having short pieces of hair breakage.

Coconut Oil - I put this on my hair overnight, the next morning my hair was soft. A new staple!

Carol's Daughter Hair Milk - I like this moisturizer when I don't want a really "wet" waterbased moisturizer. I had used another one of her products and did not like it, so I was pleasantly surprised about this one.

Misses: none

Jumbo flexirod set- faster than rollersetting and dries faster

amla/shikaikai oil cleansing- I mixed some with red palm butter and aveda rosemary mint conditioner and kept it in for an hour and a half, 30 min under dryer. Left my hair soft and clean!

HIT: Select Pro Gold Ceramic Wet and Dry Straightening Iron, 2 Inch

This flat iron is truly outstanding. It totally straighten my hair with one pass of the flat iron. I love the fact that it is ceramic. I have type 3b hair. (Very thick) I have used the expensive flat irons (Chi, Maxiglide, and Sedu) and can honestly say, I have found the one for me. The Select Pro Gold!

*It has little 'teeth' like the maxiglide that can be removed.
