HUGE HIT!!!! Herbal essences dangerously straight conditioner

I got this for 3 bucks from Kmart and it smellls heavenly. It also has some silk protein in it. After hearing about it here from Pistacho and Brownie(thanks girls) I bought it. I was in a hurry this morning to wash my hair. I had not planned on washing but my scalp started flaking so I went ahead and did it. After shampooing, I slapped this stuff on. It is very creamy, a nice pink color and spread really easily. I left it on for 10 minutes and rinsed. My hair was perfectly detangled, underprocessed sections and all. It really did feel like silk. I flat wrapped to dry and my hair is still smooth and soft. Even my ends which always don't feel like that when they are not set on rollers. This stuff rocks. I will probably add it to my CO-wash conditioner rotation. I look forward to trying the other herbal essences conditioners. The anti-frizz smoothing one (in the orange bottle) is gonna be next.
I have 3 Herbal Essences Conditioners under my sink including the Dangerously Staight I will have to try it soon.
Thanks for the review.

Huge Hit-
Mizani Butter Blend relaxer. I used it for the first time last weekend, and it left my roots soft and smooth. There's a distinct difference in texture and feel between the Mizani lye roots and my no-lye ends, which are dry and dull.

MISS:

Giovanni Smooth as Silk Deep Moisture Conditioner.

I dunno what happend. I put it on as a deep conditioner and my hair was like

I have been looking for a conditioner that could moisturize my ends, especially now its getting dry and cold. But um this isnt it...

I dont want this anymore....

Huge hit is Hollywood Beauty's Olive oil cream hairdress for dry hair.

My BF bought me some while I was having a fit about my hair being so dry and my hair LOVES this stuff.

Miss:

V05 Revive and Restore (the one with the pink cap) con. My hair doesn't like it. Even for a CO wash. I gave it to a coworker.

2 of my favorites!

I agree about the Fermodyl.

About the ABBA Moisture scentsations - I had the nerve to use that after a touchup. :drunk: Not the time for a shampoo like that!!!

Miss: Airdrying. Had to say bye bye to this. I'm losing more hair from shedding and I didn't have any shedding with the blowdryer.

MISS: Tresemme Touchable Curls Shaping Milk

It does define the curls BUT when it dries, it dries crunchy.:nono:

I have a little bit left (it only comes in a 4oz bottle) I'm going to use serum with it and see if it makes a difference but as of now it remains on my MISS list. :ohwell:

Pantene relaxed and natural hair mask
Oil rinsing with castor oil

*marking a co-sign X*

I just used this/did this on 11/2 right before my trip and I really liked the result. I'm going to do throughout the winter and since I won't be going to a Dominican salon for any reason (so I don't have to hear any comments like "ooh, you're hair is greasy mami :ohwell::nono: ) I'll be okay doing this.:yep:

Awwwww Tee......

same scenario here.....almost seems like the pj journey is winding down for some....and just beginning for others....

*busts out in song*

From the day we arrive on the planet
And, blinking, step into the sun
There's more to see than can ever be seen
More to do than can ever be done
There's far too much to take in here
More to find than can ever be found
But the sun rolling high
Through the sapphire sky
Keeps great and small on the endless round

It's the Circle of Life
And it moves us all
Through despair and hope
Through faith and love
Till we find our place
On the path unwinding
In the Circle
The Circle of Life

Hits:
Aveda Hang Straight straightening lotion: worked great as a creamy leave in for rollersetting.

Nexxus Aloe Rid: I like this clarifying poo and the fact that it has only one sulfate as opposed to 2 like others.

L'Oreal Vive Pro Conditioner for curly/wavy hair (pink bottle): This was nice and moisturizing and silicone free. It contains palm and jojoba oils. I liked this much better than the formula for damaged hair I had previously tried.

Miss: :nono:
Using serum before rollersetting: For some reason this just doesn't work for me. I tried it again, and it leaves my ends dry, where I have to moisturize like crazy.

Hits-

Using lacio lacio on wet hair before blow drying & flat ironing- works really well. Gives me a LOT of shine.

DC then detangling with comb, rinsing out and applying another conditioner- as a rinse (but without combing a second time) Gives my hair more definition (clumping)

HITS:
  • Deep conditioning on dry hair w/heat using up any conditioners in the house (ORS Mayo, Nexxus Kherafix, etc.)
  • Oil Rinses w/leftover oils mixed together (olive, Hot Six & Surge Potion #9)
  • Jane Carter Solution Revitalizing Leave-in Conditioner & then sealing with the Nourish n' Shine.
No MISSES yet...
I have a ton of new products waiting to be used. Will come back later or wait until December to post..

This stuff made my hair so soft. I used it as my deep conditioner after hennaing on Saturday. Great results.

-I FINALLY got my hands on some lacio lacio...love it!
-Pantene Relaxed n Natural breakage defense mask....had to find out if it was worth all the hype AND IT WAS!:yep:
-White Rain Tropical Coconut...LOVE it for cowashing and as a final rinse..and best of all its only $1! :)
-oil rinsing with olive oil, castor oil, or grapseseed oil.
-DC'in on dry hair with heat

Miss:
Sunsilk Hydra TLC...I thought I liked it at first but then I was having excessive shedding/breakage every time I would run my fingers through my hair....it stopped after I quit using it (must have been the keratin--too much protein for me).

Revisited:
Giovanni Direct...used to think it was nothing special but really like it now as a leave in and as a moisturizer

Mizani Butter Blend relaxer
This left my hair soft, strong, and shiney. I think this is going to be my relaxer for a while.

Revisit

Elucence Moist Shampoo - I don't know why I haven't used this in a while. Left my hair soft and detangled.

Kenra Intensive Emoillent Treatment - This is a my precioooous! I have 2 tubes left and I don't know what I am going to do once I run out. My hair stays so soft once I use this. The cold isn't drying out my hair.
