ETA: Did a much needed retouch this past weekend at 8 weeks, lost about 2 inches of progress during the last couple of months due to sheer neglect. I've revamped my hair care regimen (will post in journal), the daily CO washings HAVE GOT TO STOP along with the LONG STRETCHES. Just not working for me.

MISSES: While my whole salon experience was a miss, I'll start by talking about the Influance (how it was spelled, I'm thinking...) line. I've never heard of it. Ill. My hair is not straight enough, it's dry, no body, and my scalp is itching and flaking something terrible! She used the relaxer system and the foam wrap lotion. Mind you she should have been using Affirm as always, so this was offense number 1.5. THEN, she calls herself trimming my hair. Okay, that was needed. But, uh, 2 inches? That's a cut! AAAAAaaannnddd it was merely a hair-hater move b/c she only hacked the back! I had to CUT the top when I got home to remove thin ends and make it blend in with the back! But this was AFTER I excessively-moisturized for 3 days to remove the DUDLEY SPRITZ she sprayed on my TIGHT CHRISTIAN CURLS! And I PAID for this TOTURE???!!! OMG, I was beyond mad and clearly I'm still heated. I'd made APL early, but nowwwwwwwwww... I'll be lucky if I make it back by December! I will NEVAH be back to that "salon" and will go back to doing it ALL MY DERN SELF!!!!

I got this when I ran out of Humectress and I was too broke to drop that Nexxus cash on a new bottle. (Ya'll know I'm on the come up... ) A friend told me that she usually used Keracare, but she tried this and she liked it. Since she had nice hair, I figured I'd try it.

I'm glad I did!! This stuff had my hair so soft and swangin!!! And it's cheaper than Nexxus. I might have to convert, IDK...

I found it at a BSS next to where I live. They are on sale now and I figured let me try this. I loved it so I went back for the conditioner which I will try this Saturday. I hope it gives me great results like the shampoo !

This is major for me because I swore I'd never use it:

Hit: CFCG Instant Activator I used it on my 2-day old WnG w/some coconut oil and baggied overnight. I woke up to soft, supple ends that weren't the least bit crunchy-ish! Instead of wetting my hair again in the shower, I was able to just pull it up in a bun and my ends stayed soft all day! I am officially a new convert!
