Hypothetically, If I'm marrying a dude with a kid already:
-He's not the type to just lay down and impregnate anyone. The relationship didn't work out for a good reason (like they married too young). He didn't impregnate a crazy woman, a loose woman or a hardened criminal.
-Our normal income is such that his providing for the child does not affect my household. He needs to keep his child as well as the one he has with me (if we have any). I couldn't respect or trust him otherwise.
-He would appreciate the care that the mother provides for his child. I'm not interested in guys that are combative or resentful with the ex. (See 1st point)
She can take the 20k and have a tour of Senegal, renovate her kitchen and hit Fifth Avenue for all I care.
