Yea, it was in the transitioners support thread or the natural support thread. I didn't understand what they meant by natural because I grew up being lied to. I was told that black people couldn't have hair that didn't need to be permed. The only black people I knew who did were multi-ethnic, so apparently that was their excuse. Other than that, I would still be walking around believing you had to get a curly perm to have hair that looked like yours.

I know I'm supposed to pick just one, but I can't. It's a tie between BublinBrownShuga and MissMarie. BublinBShuga peaked my interest. I never even thought about the real texture of my hair until I saw her pics. She really got me to :scratchch Big ups to Miss Marie for continuing to inspire me with her fotki. It gets me thru some trying days. I can't say they're my hair goddesses, BUT I can say they're my greatest hair inspirations.

ETA: Oh Lawd! How could I forget Sareca! (now watch my list grow, like Sylver2, Firecracker, SO1913... ) Okay, anybody with healthy hair inspired me.

I would say SamanthaJones. She not only has to die for hair, but her regimen and understanding of natural black hair is amazing. This woman turned my hair around.

cosigning all the macherieamour love. i show her picture to everyone who says you cant grow relaxed hair long. i got some asshatted natural nazi friends who like to act supercilious. i dont know if ive seen anyone else's hair, natural or relaxed, look as good as i think hers does - so thick, dark, and healthy. (not to mention long )
