613 and Wen. I can't praise it enough and my hair can't stop loving all the moisture and pampering it gets weekly from these products. :)

I'd have to agree my membership to the board. Even though alot of this knowledge can be found elsewhere about products, styles, techniques, etc. You can't ask an article a question and get different point of views, and variations on how to do things. I don't think I would have ever stopped going to salon, if I didn't join this board.

Also, my steamer. I don't use it enough, but when I do, it never fails me. It just really does something with knocking out tangles and really keeping my hair moisturized.

QB - AOHC, CTDG, Aethiopika Twist Butter :lick:
Original Moxie - Emollience, DC, Daily leave in
Sedu - Flat ironing serum

Best Investment!
Nexxus Humectress conditioner and Therapee Shampoo
I have been using this for 6 plus years, my go to staple product!

Virgin Coconut Oil and Olive oil (Cheapies)

Oyin hand made whipped pudding (so worth the shipping and handling)

Jane Carter Solutions Revitalizing leave-in (never a day without it, 8.99)

this is pretty much my best investments and the majority of my hair care

i talk about this stuff too much, but for me, it was definitely hydrolyzed keratin.

i struggled with keeping moisture in my hair. nothing worked. tried loads of products to moisturize my hair. deep conditioners were a bust, leave-ins/moisturizers were a bust (didnt matter if they were liquid, creamy, whatever)...then i realized that i had high porosity hair and the reason i lost moisture so quickly is because it was evaporating from my hair almost as quickly as it was put in.

regular protein conditioners didnt really help. it wasnt until i started using the pure hydrolyzed keratin protein that i saw a difference. the protein helps to fill in the holes/gaps in my strands so that they can hold onto moisture longer. this is why a protein/moisture balance is important. moisture cant work without a proper amount of protein.

i use the protein in a couple of ways: i spray it before i DC and then i spray it again after rinsing the dc or condition washing and before moisturizing.
