Don't leave. Please stay. I have a friend that has the same type hair that you have. I always thought it was type 2. I don't know. But when she wet here hair, it becomes naturally curly and looks like she has a jheri curl. For years she had a relaxer. Why I don't know. She has not relaxed in over a year now but still prefers the straight look, so she has it flat ironed. Why are people so ignorant to the fact that this type hair exist on black women. My friend is completely African American and not mixed with a thing. Girl, keep doing your thing and forget the haters. Jealous!

Were they really accusing you of texturizing or just asking out of ignorance. It could be a compliment like "Hey what did you do to get your hair like that, I would like to do it also"

If you think someone's regimen would not benefit you because your hair texture is different, just move on to someone else. its so impossible to believe that maybe, god created hair that can lay flat when its wet, and curls when dry??? seriously take 4a hair,. its has smallish curls that when texturizer become wavy and thiner, due to the curl pattern. now those ppl are emulating the look of 3c hair.

so why is it so hard to understand that 3c hair would naturally have those charateristics are well???

and im tired of having to explain to ppl, that YES, THIS IS my natural texture!

I was going to post this exact song! LOL. I think your hair is pretty, Silvergirl. I'm a newbie and whenever I read the comments I always stop to admire your hair. Don't let any haters run you away. People always tell me and my sister we have weave (when I was relaxed), hating. I just say forget them. They have to get over their own jealousy and take care of their own hair.... I'm going to be real: You seem a bit of a drama queen. Not just here, but on other threads that you've commented on. That said, I don't understand why people would not believe that your hair texture is your hair texture. It looks like the texture of many black women on this board and elsewhere. If people are actually wasting time accusing you of doing "something" to your hair, that's sad for them.

But to be honest and real again, this whole thread is ridiculous. People here endure similar stuff and aren't this thin-skinned about it. I was lurking when the whole DL "Does SherryLove have a weave" debacle broke, and SherryLove handled it with grace and class. When someone started hating on Sylver in her Fokti, she made an offhand comment about it in a different thread and locked her Fokti down to anon comments. People are gonna think what they think. People are going to make comments that others won't like. And starting an "OMG, I'm leaving, goodbye cruel world!!!11111one!!11" thread makes you look as nutty and pathetic as the people doing all this in the first place. YOU know what grows out of your head and how. If others' don't, then that's their issue.

I dont think that it does....clearly she was just saying goodbye and telling us what was going down...I dont look at it further than that.
