Had to dust my ends this morning. I am noticing a tremendous improvement in my hair with each dusting. :yay: Wearing a braidout then back to twist by the end of the week. The goal is healthy MBL hair by Dec! :yep:

I want to join please, ALL sessions!!!

I will be getting a trim my next relaxer
:yep:

I want to join both sessions also , im trying to retain all the length i can this year...

I need to get in on this. I am having to go back to basics due to a setback. And sealing my ends nightly is part of that. So I guess I'll do session one and two. I'm still hoping to get to APL by Dec.

Checking in! I've been using Qhemet AOHC on my ends and occassionally JBCO.

*Sigh* I think I may have to bow out. My ends are not distinct enough from the rest of my head to baggy very well (aka. my hair is too short!). I'll just stick with the DC challenge until my hair grows at least to my shoulders.

I have still being good with my ends, still using Hot Six Oil and Silken Child.

I've added moisture mist by NadiA to my regimen. I will be alternating between the moisture mist and my aloevera mix. After I spritz with moisture, I apply ORS carrot/olive oil and then castor oil. I'm loving these combination of mixtures.

Silken Child and Amla Shakaki Oil today.....

Got my Argan oil at Sally's today to do a DC and seal at night.

checkin in. moisturized and seal ( UBH Lotion Creme Moisturizer, Water, olive or JBCO oil)

Silken Child, HS 14n1, and Amla Shakaki Oil today.....

Haven't checked in a while, but have been cowashing, and baggying and sealing my ends with EVCO/ and castor oil, nightly. But the knots on some of my ends are driving me crazy, I have been cutting them off. Anyone have any other advice on how to handle them?

I'm having the same problem. Last Saturday I got a good trim, but I'm still getting these darn knots!:wallbash: I've been baggying for the past couple of nights. I'll probably pin my twists up today to try to keep the moisture on the ends after I remove the baggy.

I just tried Argan Oil last night as a sealant before baggying. All I can say is WOW! It left my hair soft and shiny, but not greasy. I will def. add this to my pj stash.:chocbunny::

idk if this will help u guys but i realized a loong time ago that i get lots of knots from wearing my hair out in braid outs and twist outs. So i stopped doing them. I also noticed that I don't get knots with bantu knot outs. I think the difference is that with bantu knot outs, everynight i redo the knots and apply moisturizer and sealant.

So this entire week my hair has been in a braid out but i used the same general principal of rewetting, moisturizing and sealing and i have not encountered ANY knots. hth

Hi Ladies!
I haven't been posting updates to this challenge. Some would call it a major set back, but I prefer to call it a blessing. God is good! As long as I'm healthy, my hair will grow. I'll post a blog with the details. I had and extensive abdominal surgery. All is well, but my hair suffered on a couple of fronts. Tonight I will find out the condition of my hair. I'll keep you posted.
