Super Healthy Ends Challenge 2010!

I did a wash n' go yesterday and sealed with vatika oil and a bit of Oyin burnt sugar pomade. I plan to co-wash and bun today!

Undid my braids last week, did a comb-out, moisturized my NG and ends with Olive Oil Cream, Shea Butter, sealed with Amla & Coconut Oil and my "super gro" grease which largely has petrolatum (yuck, I know) and coconut oil as main ingredients. Rebraided.

Took down a few braids the next day and ends felt much better, strong yet not dry (and not too soft)! Misted hair with leave-in condish/water/glycerin mix, applied same products as above, and rebraided again. I'm anxious for wash day this weekend so that I can do an intensive DC on my hair with Motions CPR, olive oil/Amla Oil, and Joico Moisture Renewal Condish. That CPR should restore some moisture to my unusually dry ends (I think due to the cold, dry winters here).

ETA: Picking up some JBCO this week to incorporate into Super Healthy Ends regimen.

Tonight I used Silk Elements Silken Child Moisturizing Crème mixed with HS 14 in 1 and sealed with Hot Six Oil.

I did a mid-week detangling with v05 and JASON detangler, using my denman d4. I have more breakage from ssk and tangles when I do nothing than from brushing once a week.

then I applied Hairveda ends cream and sealed with jbco- bunned and scarf for sleep

Haven't checked in lately...I don't put anything on my dry hair...when after conditioning I will use a protein leave in and follow up with Kerastase cream leave in then roller set...

Moisturised with ORS lotion and sealed with castor oil i am seriously loving Mthis stuff.

I am constantly looking at my ends to see if i can see any splits, tomorrow is wash day and looking forward to DC my hair and babying my ends.

Here's my check in for the month...
I did kinky twists for the first time... err... they're suppose to be kinky twists. I don't like them too much but will try to keep them in until Feb. I still moisturize with a braid spray and a leave-in condition after washing my hair.

Im pretty sure yall tired of seeing these same items being used but I am trying to get them out of the way LOL.....

I'm also participating in the Cayenne Pepper Challenge 2010-2011. I use jojoba as a carrier for the cayenne. I haven't used any heat since 12/24/2009. My last hair cut was 11/26/2009. I'm gave my hair a light drink of jojoba at the scalp and on the ends, followed by a scalp massage and an updo. My ends are smooth and happy!

Just checking in ladies, today I got my hair flat ironed and the ends dusted and my stylist stated that my ends were in great condition so this challenge will definitely be a keeper for me.

Checking in...I have been using Hydratherma Naturals Protein Leave-in and sealing my ends with Hollywood Beauty Carrot Oil and/or Hydratherma Naturals oil.

What are good products to seal the ends? During this time of year I notice a lot of hair on my back due to breakage I think, but it is only this time of year..I just did a mayo prepoo last week but this did not help much..I would like to get in this challenge (i know it is late) but I have to do something with these ends..Thinking about a conditioner wash tonight and bun it tomorrow..Relaxer this weekend, please help

I'd love to join this challenge for the first session. My goal is WL for Aug 2010. I regularly use Lacio Lacio as my moisturizer/leave in and seal with Amla oil.

Checking in: I've been wearing my hair in twists and redoing them every 14 days. I'm not baggying every night like I did in '09. Instead I have graduated to a satin bonnet and barely manipulate my hair at all between wash days.

I redid my twists 2 days ago. I moisturized with Luster's S-Curl and Motions Nourish Leave-In Conditioner and twisted/sealed with my shea butter/castor oil hair butter mix.

I did some yarn braids and will keep them in for 2 to 3 months. I

Here's my regimen while in braids:

* Moisturize daily to twice a day. I have been using V05 moisture milks with water in a spray bottle. So far so goo; I used this before when wearing half wigs.
* Spray every few days with Infusium (gotta buy some)
* Spritz with Ayurveda tea daily to every other day.
* Wash weekly to every 10 days and deep condition over night.
* Redo the edges every 3 weeks to monthly.
* Sleep in a satin cap.

Yesterday after my DC I applied Silk Elements Silken Child Moisturizing Crème and sealed with Hot Six Oil and then braided into 4 cornrows going back.

Later that night I sprayed with HS 14 in 1.

I am about to apply a mixture of Silk Elements Silken Child Moisturizing Crème, HS 14 in 1, and sealed with Hot Six Oil.
