Super Healthy Ends Challenge 2010!

I'm IN.. for 1 session.. to see if I can handle it... if I can i'll be up for the 2nd session :yep:

im in!
hair is currently in twists, sealing with olive or castor oil & moisturizer

Trying to put hair up into protective updos!
Im in for both sessions! Here we go ladies!

count me in for both sessions! i plan to use heat only twice this year. for mi bday and something else lol but right now i'm bunning, moisturizing, and sealing daily. and oh yea, i plan to dust my ends w/ every texlax because my hair is uneven..

I'm sooo happy to see this! Please count me in! I've been doing pretty good leaving the heat alone, but today was the first time I sealed my ends in a LONG time...but count me in b/c I need to get on this...Thanks!

Oops. I will do both sessions since I am also doing the wig challenge for a full year and plan to grow hair to BSL from Shoulder length by then.

Thanks Ladies for joining! Haven't really been on LHCF a lot but as soon as I find time I'll update the list! HHG!

Hi, thanks OP for creating this challenge. I have had my hair braided consistently recently under my LF's, so the not combing is no prob. I do need to remember to moisturize my ends frequently during the week, though. I tend to braid it up and oil the hair/scalp, spritz with water/leave-in/S-curl mix and forget about it! This challenge will remind me to be dedicated to keeping the healthy ends I do have, and to combating the dryness that seems to be taking over...maybe its just b/c of the winter cold.

I plan to do the whole year...Jan to Dec 2010. My pic is in my Fotki (too lazy to re-post). I have gained some length since the Nov. 19th pic under my Aug-Nov. album, but haven't uploaded the pics yet. Good luck everyone, and here's to bangin' ends in 2010!!

Sign me up for the first session, please. I so need this right now, because I'm trying to get to APL, but I won't claim it until its full and healthy. To that end, I'm only using direct heat with length checks (every 6 wks, when I dust), (co-)washing/pony-tail setting once a week during the winter. Starting pic in my siggy... well, not really, cuz I haven't done my end of the year length check yet, but I'm sure it's close to that length.

Good luck everybody, and HHG!

I want in....
I have already been doing this since I trimmed my ends after my last relaxer. Tonight I will be using Hawaiian Silky Miracle Worker 14 in 1 and Silk Elements Silken Child Moisturizing Crème, and top it of with Hot Six Oil.

I'm in for the first session! Hopefully my ends will be in good shape for my wedding in July!
I wont be trimming until then, I think.

I will be bunning, using minimal heat and moisturizing 1-2x per day. (I hope!)

My ends are chewed up right now.... hopefully they will be thicker!

Count me in! I am ordering a blow dryer and flat iron this week and getting a dusting next week. Hopefully, I will be able to find my camera cord to take/upload pics this time around.

Im gonna join this challenge. I will be moisturizing with Qhemet Burdock Root Butter Cream and sealing with either coconut or sweet almond oil. I will dust faithfully every 2 to 3 weeks and hide my ends as needed by wearing half wigs, ponytails, and bunning..

I'm in for both sessions I need this in order to make the goal mbl by December 2010 (crossing fingers). I might make it if I don't trim so I have to keep my ends healthy. I'm not straightening my hair until February so I don't really have an updated straight hair pic. But I will be sure to post when I do straighten.

I'll be staying away from the heat and moisturizing with water and cantu shea butter leave in conditioner and sealing with unrefined shea butter.

I'm in for session 1 then I'll re-evaluate b/c that's my year mark & I may big chop & wear my hair out & curly. :)

Please can I join both sessions? I really need to look after my ends as I don't want to trim next year at all.
