I steamed for 30 minutes with my LCL steamer.

I mailed my steamer back home and I just put it together tonight. It has been in pieces for 2 months. It was damaged in the mail(cracked hood) but it still works!

2. What method are you using to steam? I have a table top steamer

3. What products will you steam with? My goal is to be consistent with my products this year so my DC will be Shea Moisture mixed with coconut oil, although I've been thinking that I may every now and again add another hair mask or oil into that mixture just to use up some of the stuff I have.

Interested in purchasing a steamer this month. What is the best model in your opinion?

gvin89 I personally like the ones on wheels. They are easier to adjust. All you need is the steamer and a chair. The tabletop hair dryers I hate because I could never get comfortable. I was stuck in the kitchen or dining room, and could never adjust it right. I assumed that tabletop steamers would have the same issues.

As far as brands go, I think it is more a matter of what model you pick. I have seen the identical steamers on various sites under different names. I believe the sites name them themselves.

If you have a particular steamer in mind include a link or a picture, I am sure the ladies will have an opinion.

I bought my steamer from LCL Beauty formerly Salons R Us.
