Sagittarius Men

I was with a Sag for 10 years. Boring, dull, pessimistic, and never took the lead with anything. But, he loved me to death and was very good to me, which is why it took me so long to make up my mind to leave. We were just so different in ways that did not appeal to me. Every time I thought of marriage, I cringed. That was not fair to him.

But in the end I have realized that he is manipulative, calculating, and deliberate in his ways. I don't know if that has anything to do with his zodiac. On top of that he was a gemini moon. So it would really take alot for him to settle down.

I pretty much wasted alot of time and did not see what it was for bc of my rose tinted glasses.

He used sex to control me and he said it. He told me that he did not want to be with me but he really wanted me in his life, he did not want to "lose" me (BS!). So when I would back away based on what he said he could not do for me, he would just lure me back in and at the time I was not sick and tired. I can write a novel:nono:.
 
I would never get involved with a Sagittarius man only because I have a Sag Stellium AND a Sag Ascendant but my Sun in Scorpio. So I'm a mix of two contrasting energies since Sag is a Fire sign and Scorpio is a Water sign. My main problem with Sags is that they are endless wanderers, at least the ones that I know. On the one hand I'm kinda the same way, I love variety, diversity and it can be hard to pin me down. But I'm still a Scorpio so I'm possessive and while I like to roam the world, I don't want my SO/DH doing it.:ohwell: I'm a mix of optimistic and pessimistic/realist energies, I find it easier to be with someone more on the realist side.:yep:

It's crazy how much truth is in this statement! My husband and I have been off and on since high school. He would lure me in then act like he didn't care about me. Then I'd let him go and move on. Next thing I knew he was calling me wanting to be together but he wouldn't commit. I was so tired of him at one point I hated to look at him! I don't know how we made it to where we are now. Getting him to commit was like pulling teeth!

Now he is the ideal father, he is totally committed, he'll do anything for dd and I. He can still be very difficult at times but I'm so glad I hung in there! I'm a gemini so I don't know how that plays into it. We've always been drawn together.

He is definitely a free spirit and they like to explore new things. He accused me of being possessive, but to use sex to keep someone around sounds quite possessive to me. One thing that I did enjoy was our conversations. He was intrigued about my love for metaphysics and astrology while I love learning about history and politics from him (they love that type of stuff). When it was good it was GREAT, but when **** hit the fan it was BAD. Plus my moon and his mars are both in libra which mean strong sexual energy (moon/mars connection). Its pretty much like BFF's who have sex and it just all go south bc although you are great as friends its just not good for romance unless their is ALOT of growth...a whole lot of it!!!

Its great to know someone knows what I am talking about. I swear sometimes I think I was going crazy. They are good when it comes to their family. I was raised by a sagittarius man (stepdad) and he is definitely a provider and businessminded. They like fast things, motorcycles, cars. Manly men...My stepdad knows alot about history and stuff too.

hmmm interesting, i do think there are links btwn our parents placements and who we choose in our mates. Just an observation from looking at loved one's placements.

But for him to be a possessive sagittarius is interesting, he must be on the cusp of scorpio or has some placements that affect that.

The one I have is jealous/insecure, pessimistic, close-minded, judgmental, moody
But his good traits: he has patience with me (I'm a typical Aquarian so God bless him:look:), generous, ready to commit, family-oriented, attentive, faithful

Mine isn't free-spirited at all. As many times as we've broken up....we always somehow end up back together. I keep swearing that I'll never go back to his annoying, whiny, arse.....and then he wears me down. Oh....I guess I forgot to mention that they are persistent as heck when they want something. So expect this fool to show up at 11pm with flowers when he's wrong and you're ignoring his calls *true story*

My BF loves women, not literally but he genuinely loves just the idea of women. How we think, act, dress, etc..

They are big on challenges. They don't want anything given to them. My BF once joked that if I'm a mountain he's going to climb that mountain and put his flag on the top. Ironically the symbol for Sag is the goat...and goats are known as good climbers and whatnot.

They can be emotionally removed, but IME that's usually just a cover. My BF has a large capacity for very deep emotion he just doesn't advertise it. I think they are secretly softies. I'm good at bringing that out of him which is ironic since I am not or rather was not...:ohwell: the most emotional person.

Um what else. They are logical and methodical. I've also noticed a tendency towards certain compulsive habits (nothing crazy. they just have...um special quirks).

Two of the guys i'm dating now are Sags. I think I attract them, cuz I've dated a lot of them, but the relationships never seem to really go anywhere. I don't know why.... maybe they lose interest? I've noticed its hard to maintain their attention... either they're interested in you or they're not. There's nothing you can really do about it, or at least nothing that I've been able to figure out.

All the Sags I've dated were really masculine, including the two I'm talking to know.... which was a major thing that attracted me to them. Also they're fun/funny.

Also, I don't know if this goes for all of them, but all the Sags I've dated have had this weird personal ethical system that seemed to inform a lot of their activities. So they act really carefree and outgoing, and you would think they're out hoeing but they have this moral code that they refuse to deviate from.... its interesting.

They're the type that will flirt HEAVILY... but not cheat.
 
My eye candy is a Sag and he is just simply *sigh* attractive as hell. One thing I did hear about Sag men is that they can be a little heaux-ish which I see occasionally I just don't have any concrete evidence to prove that lol
 
My boyfriend is a Sagittarius, and ironically enough probably one of the best relationships I've had to date.

He's really affectionate, optimistic, takes the lead on things we do (once he got comfortable enough with me), and he's really NOT into hoeing himself out or dating a bunch of people all at the same time. He really puts his time and effort into one thing if that's the one thing he wants.

Personality wise he's amazing, funny, sweet, very compassionate and kind... But I can understand the negative Sag's because my father is a Sag and he is the most devious, manipulating person I know.
