I appreciate his honesty. That being said.....For a man with so many rules and regulations, I'm curious to know just how "Jesus-like" he is himself. I suppose the fact that perfection does not exist in human beings is lost on him.

I believe that sometimes those who are unhappily single may need to evaluate themselves. Sometimes the "dud" is the man in the mirror.

Ohhh, well maybe its me moving too slow then. LoL! I'm not giving a dude my phone number until I've met him in person (or scheduled the first date). I just figured there would be more substance to the first week of emails. He just sends one-liners like "how was your day" and "got anything planned for the weekend".
Either way, I'm not asking him out. In that respect I am old fashioned. If a guy wants to go out with me he will ask. If he doesn't there's got to be a good reason.
 
^^You know I really dont mind that long laundry list because we as women do the SAME THING and think nothing of it.

So its good he put his list on the table so you can see it and make a choice to stay or move on. I actually would like more men to be vocal up front. Don't waste time.
 
That guy above is a mess! A, b, e, f (my God is not most's God), g (my brother is afraid of my feet), n (I DO believe in a sense of entitlement. I DO deserve some things), and S (I'd never date anyone who'd consider Chicago. I get cold too easily). And even if I were his Abcs (thank God I'm not), I wouldn't date him.

I'm the high maintenance one in a relationship! Don't out-picky me!

I guess this is a case of different strokes for different folks. I have no set time limit on meeting, but I only give my number out immediately before meeting (like, I'm on my way). I'll message a guy for a week to a month (only if he's like a doctor or something and on a night rotation) before meeting. Though if we work near each other, I may meet him sooner. I met a guy last week after 1 email and a bunch of texts.

i met a pretty cool guy last Saturday from OKC. unfortunately, i can't see him again. i'm just not ready to date.

That's true but it's not different from alot of women. I've had male friends show me similar women's profiles they just weren't as bad as ole boys. That is the one thing I don't like about online dating people start acting like celebrities that have people banging down their doors left/right with all these don't contact me if you don't fit 9million qualifications. **** please :lachen:

Wow SMDH. Im tempted to ask him why? Then I see that his category is Intimate Encounters...but even still I dont think you can have pics up like that.

I remember this one guy sent me a msg and being that you need a pic to send me a msg he included a few with his. I usually check POF from my phone, so imagine my surprise when I was scrolling and saw a pic of him naked with his leg covering his peen. He was already unattractive but then I saw that and jumped back because it scared me :ohwell: Geesh.

but that profile is just smh - a mess! :lachen::lachen:did he really write that people tell his mom that he is sweet?:drunk: and he says he's looking for a h.s. girl who is a freak? that plus he really likes martial arts and baking coconut cookies makes me afraid. this guy is an offender of some sort or something :nono:

i deactivated my account last Sunday after a mistake.:look: but now i'm regretting it. i hate dating but if i ain't dating making ****ed up decisions, what am i doing?:lol:
 
everything is going well my way with this online dating thing. out of all three guys recently i have been spending the most time with with #2. He is just too good to be true. i had to pull back though. i think we are moving too quickly and spend too much time with each other. but so far so good, im thinking about letting the other guys go and just focus on him for a while. We have a bowling rematch tomorrow since he kicked my butt badly last time, and next weekend we have plans for a really nice restaraunt and i am online now looking for a new dress (like i need any more lol). much luck to you all.

I told him that I was free as well and to call me on Friday to confirm everything, he says ok. I never received a call, so I'm like oh well...! So just like I thought, he sends me a text asking me what I'm doing. When I told him that I was going out he says that he thought that we had plans....ummm huh?! I told him that I had made other plans since he didn't call. He then tells me I could've called him....nah kid.

I don't like to do spontaneous for first meetings, If I tell you to call me or you say that you'll call on a certain day to confirm plans then DO IT!!

I kinda ditched a guy yesterday. We didn't make concrete plans, but we were aiming for Friday. I don't know... I'm not sure that I even want to meet him. I just don't see myself being very attracted to him.

The two other guys are juuust right. For now, anyway. We'll see where things go.

For whatever reason, I've started logging back into my POF account. I chatted with this guy on and off yesterday and gave him my number.

I've actually gotten quite a few messages, but umm...most of these dudes. :nono: I'm sorry, attraction is important to me and most of these individuals are facially challenged. I don't need a drop-dead gorgeous guy, but if I recoil at your pic, that's not a good sign.

Im glad that you let him know. why would he ask "what are you doing" if he remembered that you two had plans. what a weirdo
