HUGE hit...Mizani Thermasooth. I'm not sure the shampoo is okay for natural hair, but we love parts 2-4!

Did you use pins or clips? I tried to use the clip with those and I struggled. I prefer to use the pins but I can't find plastic pins that accommodate the large size:perplexed.

I have been using them with clips. I finally found the extra long pins tho, I have to give them a whirl. The pins are long in yellow plastic with steel inside.

i brought suave's clarifying shampoo (large size for under $2) and it worked well (decent smell, not too harsh on my hair, lathered quickly, easy to rinse, etc).

I thought for sure i was gonna have tangling problems or problems re-hydrating my hair but i was suprised to have none of these problems. i am embarrassed to say this is the first time ever i clarified but it was a painless process (thank goodness)

my mom gave me a look like i was insane for buying it and asked me 5x's if i knew what clarifying shampoo was for....lol

More Hits:
BB Oil Moisturizer (Mineral Oil-Free Formula)
Emergencia Conditioner

Revisited Hit:
L'oreal Unfrizz Smoothing Treatment

i am gonna add ORS's olive oil moisturizer (the one in a jar) as a miss.

i had reservations on using this because it has mineral oil in it but i used half the jar in 7 days trying to keep my hair moisturized. even when i do it at night before i go to bed my hair still feels dried (like the product was soaked up by my hair or something. i think the mineral oil is drying it out.

back to carol's daughter i go because this is not worth it. the most i had to use CD was every other day :(

Hey Msshic, where did you get your Pibbs Dryer? I heard that's a really good one.

I don't know if I already posted in this thread but my MAY 2007 Hit is definitely Vatika Oil. This stuff makes my hair so soft and I LOVE the smell.

 I did a rolleset about a month ago using my Conair Rollabout, it took me close to 2 hours to dry my hair. The Conair is great for shorter hair, but brastrap & longer I don't think it's good enough.

The Pibbs has very hot air (I set mine to 50) & it has that whirlwind action so you MUST use a hair net. My saran wrap blew completely off if that gives you any idea how fast it blows.

I'm very happy I purchased this dryer, I almost got the same one BeautifuWideEyes has but I've wanted a Pibbs for so long I just went for it. The one she has sounds just as good as a Pibbs, it even looks just like it.

CONES!!

I posted a few days ago about my bad experience with my cone-heavy heat protectant serum. It left my hair feeling dried out, brittle, and breaking. Now, I've had a bad experience with a cone-heavy deep conditioner - Pantene R&N Breakage Defense Mask. I used it Friday night, and yesterday, I noticed that my hair was feeling dry and brittle. My hair DOES NOT feel this way if I use a cone-free deep conditioner (like Lustrasilk Shea Butter Cholesterol or an Aubrey Organics conditioner). I think I'm going to have to go completely cone-free, with the exception of serum when I decide to flatiron. My hair just really does not respond well to cones.:perplexed

You go into the store, ask for their professional catalog & they will ring it up for you. Shipment is free if it's shipped to the store.
