Yeah...I'm quite pleased with the outcome. I'll be making a coconut smoothie for my hair this weekend! :yay:

I don't either!! My hair hates cheapies and prefers professional lines. I think that's part of the reason I'm so excited about this. S&C was about the best I had tried, and even that wasn't earth-shattering. I'm thoroughly impressed with this cheapie. If I ran up on hard times, I would use this as a staple.

Technically I guess Mane N' Tail is a "cheapie". Less than $7 for a liter. I am going to try that White Rain this weekend. :) I am breakign my "don't buy anything new" personal challenge but for a fw bucks I think that's okay. :)

Hey DI, I am going to be in LA the 1st week in June. My bf works for The Times and has to go there for work. I am tagging along. :)

Hit: Sunsilk Thermashine detangling leave in shine spray; I bought this for around 3 bucks at kmart. It is a detangling leave in that is supposed to increase shine when dry. Its chock full of silk proteins and it helped me have a really smooth rollerset.

HIT: Aubrey Organics Island Naturals Replenishing Conditioner
I think I like this better than the Honeysuckle Rose! Did exactly what it said it would do

Miss (Not Surprised): Suave Conditioner in Toaster Vanilla and Sugar
I LOVE the way this smells...Suave/V05 etc just doesn't do it for me

On the Fence: Elasta QP DPR-11 (Just used it this morning and the slip was good, hair felt moisturized but I'll need to use a couple more times).

MISS: Suave Coconut Condish-- stopped working for me!

Hits
Revisited - Garnier Sleek and Shine Deep Conditioner - Worked well as a pre-poo and deep conditioner. Gave good slip, was thick, and smelled great.

Misses
Proclaim Curl Activator Gel - Made my hair dry crunchy and left it dull

Dove Sheer Moisture Replenishing Mist - My natural hair just does not like this. Moisture was fleeting and hair was dry.

Still Trying
Pantene Brunette Expression Hydrating Treatment

Girl! That's like trying to have just one cookie or just a little crack. :naughty:

Hits

Nacidit Avocado Cream Conditioner:love: & Tropical Aloe Vera Conditioner:love::
I mixed these two conditioners together for my moisturizing deep conditioning so that's why I'm reviewing them together. Anyhoo, I give 3 thumbs up for these two cons. They are soooooo moisturizing and my hair was sooo soft and silky when my hair was dry. I'm very impressed and they are definitely going to be staples.

Hits:

Suave Tropical Coconut Conditioner
Neutrogena Triple Moisture Deep Recovery Mask
microfiber towel (I had this for forever and used it for the 1st time today)

Revisited Hit: Phytodefrisant Relaxing Balm

:lachen: HoneyDew, you're gonna come out of there with $30 worth of stuff.

Come on yall, give me a little credit here.

Edited to add:

Okay my local Grocery store did not have the Coconut V05. :( I ended up getting the Honeydew (:)) Smoothie Moisture Milks Conditioner. It was only $1! I am going to try it Sunday. If I don't like it, I know my Mane and Tail will come to the rescue.

Wait!! Did I look for the wrong thing?!? I was looking at the V05 sets. Dang! I am taking this stuff back! I love the Name :) and smell, but I am scared to try it. I have so much bad luck with cheapies. I want to try the one you guys are raving about.

On the Fence: Mizani Moisterfuse Conditioner
It wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything spectacular either. I'm glad it only cost me $1.96 with that JCPenny Coupon.

Mizani Moisterfuse has been upgraded to HIT status. I left it on for about 15 min uncovered the first time. This time, I left it on for about 30 min with a cap, and my hair was sooooooooo moisterized and tangle free!

More Hits

Hair2Heaven End All - smells delish and already has my ends looking better. Great moisturizer.
White Rain Tropical Coconut Conditioner - first White Rain product I have ever used. Great for cowashes and as a moisturizer! Fabulous smell!!Hennalucent - scared of henna but I think I am ready to try it now. LOVED the results. I mixed it with V05 Tea tree with chamomille con and amla oil.
My hair was strong, soft and silky. Very surprised.
Organix coconut conditioner - love it for protein. Def need to follow with moisture, though.

BIGGEST HIT SO FAR: relaxing nape last and leaving it a little underprocessed. Has definitely helped it grow and become healthier than it has ever been.

Hits: Creme of Nature Kiwi & Citrus Ultra Moisturizing Shampoo & Cream of Nature Chamomile & Comfrey Nourishing Conditoner

OMG I was just looking at the conditioner online. Is the conditioner detangling?

Hit: S-Curl

I have had that big ass bottle sitting over there for over a year and never once used it. Well the curiosity finally got the best of me and I sprayed it on my new growth, and lemme tell ya, 3 days later the situation is still moisturized!

MISS: Giovanni Direct Leave In, this crap left my hair moisturized, sure did. But I had a horrible time detangling----my fault, and a white film

HIT: Tree Braids, I love them.

Denman D31 brush. My gaw :notworthy: I used it (after I combed with my jilbere comb first) while detangling with CON shampoo. This comb is the truth. I will update this, once I become 8 weeks post relaxer. *fingers crossed* I hope it still works.

Motions Moisture Plus Conditioner. I used this today after an aphogee treatment and I am in LOVE. I DCed for 20 minutes and the tangles MELTED while I was detangling under the shower head. I will also review this one I get more post relaxer. I hope it still works.

Sitting here waiting to be tried...:look::

Biolage Detangling Solution Conditioner
John Frieda Smoothing Seas Detanlging Conditioner

Hits: :D
Giovanni Frizz Be Gone Texturizing serum- Straightened and smoothed my hair nicely.
Annie 2 inch mesh rollers- I had never seen these this large, I have to go back and buy more they are great!
Using water instead of setting lotion when rollersetting- less really is more.

On the fence: :ohwell:
I revisited Giovanni Direct, used it alone after washing and didn't have the hairgasm that everyone has described.
