Where did you purchase these products?

Is it possible that you can post the ingredients to this? If it is a lot don't worry about it.

Okay, much as I love the BB Moisturizing Growth Lotion, you got me wanting to run out and buy some of this. :lachen:
I am telling you, I had a sew in for two weeks. When I took it out my hair had ZERO buildup, smell or ickiness that you get after a sew in. When I shampooed my hair after I took it out, the water was clear. This is the best sew in experience ever. I am in the middle of a stretch and I believe I gained about 1/2- 3/4 of an inch. The true test will be after I relax in a couple of weeks.

Even if I only use this when I am wearing a sew in (because of the cost) it's a keeper!:D

Thank you! If it helps you can skip the ingredients to the shampoo. I am only interested in the conditioner.:)

Sooo many people are out buying up this all over the place. (White bottle from the old formula) The purple bottles have taken completely over !! AUSSIE messed up big time !

Yeah girl...I picked up the purple one...looked at the ingredients... and put it right back down with the quickness when I was at Target. I don't know why companies mess up a such good thing. It even has less stuff in it and nothing has been added to make it beneficial to purchase.

Oh well, I'm off to go see if I can buy a box of the white bottles in bulk.

(Skips merrily out of this thread with Debit Card in hand)

I know I was alllllll excited. I used my reg shampoo (keracare) and left it on for about an hour as per usual. Then I applied the same leave-in and serum and I was all tangled up:cry:

How do you usually use is Priestess? Maybe I messed it up!

I use my Tresemme Moisture Rich conditioner right after shampooing. Sometimes I towel dry first. Then I leave it on several minutes while I finish showering. I just make sure I rinse it pretty well, otherwise it can leave my hair dull if I don't. Don't feel bad, different heads react differently to different products as they say. Just keep giving your hair Keracare so you 2 can kiss and make up. ;)

Here's another:

HIT
PM The Detangler - first time I used it. Excellent detangling and I love the smell! Good moisture, too.
RED PALM OIL - best prepoo ever in life!!!
Alfa Parf Semi Di Lino gloss - nice dry oil glosser. Smooth and shiny results.

MISS
Whole head baggy - no good for me.

Hit: ORS lye relaxer. I finally have the relaxer I'm stickin with.

Miss: Rollersetting my hair at 14 weeks post. Not a good idea at all.

Miss: Ion Purifying Solutions Shampoo for Hard Water.

I tried to cheap out with this after I ran out of the last bit of my Kenra Clarifying/Chelating. Sometimes, I have so much trouble finding my Kenra, so I thought I would try something else. :nono: I need to just stick with what works. My hair felt drier than normal and the only thing I did differently was use the Ion shampoo. I am going to just go ahead and go back to my Kenra.

I have to recant my previous statement about AtOne Reconstructor conditioner...

Well it is a Hit now.

I can only think of 2 things that have changed since the last time I used it.

1. Maybe it did not work the first time because at the time my hair was really porous when I first used it. The results were awful. Porosity control has really changed my hair and almost every conditioner that I've used before now works.

2. Maybe it worked this time because I'm pretty much freshly relaxed.

Maybe I'll change my story after the 5th week.

Hits:
Profectiv Relaxer (therapeutic no-lye). It made my hair nice and shiny and now it is so bouncy, shiny and light. I love the way the activator is creamy and it has no relaxer smell. No burning, no itching, no irritation (THANK YOU JESUS!!)

The only thing I don't like about it is:
1. they don't give you enough relaxer. I had to use 2 touch ups, and I barely made it with that.
2. it gave me false hopes and texlaxed me ununiformly (if that is a word). Some parts are more texlaxed than others. It will on really creamy and thick and when I smoothed it I really thought it was bone straight. Then after I shampooed not so! Or maybe it was the lbs of oil I had on my hair that made it look so smooth...
3. the price. but i am willing to keep paying for it since it has great ingredients.

Another Hit:
Detanging with CON (red label) shampoo. Instant  and slip and I can't wait to try it again.

What I have in store to use :look: :

Motions Moisture Plus Conditioner
Biolage Detangling Conditioner
Lekair Cholesterol
Queen Helene
Denman Brush
John Frieda Smooth Seas Detanging conditioner
Porosity Control (mixed with Biolage, Motions, and Silicon mix-not all together, one at a time)
CON conditioner ( I need to use the rest of this)

Have you tried other no-lye relaxers? If so, how does this one compare to ones you've tried?

Girl yeah, the question is what no-lye HAVEN'T I tried.

But yeah. I have tried. Optimum, ORS, Africa's Best, and some other ones I can't think of. This and ORS are tied for me. I really like this and ORS. Both of them left me soft and silky, but this one makes my hair feel like Pantene hair. I took down the bobby pins to my cross wrap this morning and all I had to do was shake my hair. It just fell ever so silky like I was in a commercial.

I probably will stick with this one even though they are so stingy with the relaxer.

Okay, thanks.

If I ever stop being chicken and get around to relaxing again, I'll try this one.

Hey take your time. Don't rush if you don't wanna. Do allll the research you want to.

On the fence:

ORS Hair Mayo + egg = I tried this mixture Friday night, with mixed results. It left my hair with no slip whatsoever, which led to problems with detangling (which I don't usually have). Maybe it's because I'm 11 weeks post, maybe my hair didn't like the egg that I added, maybe it's because I deep condition my hair before shampooing - I don't know. I may try the ORS Hair Mayo again without the egg before I pass on it altogether. My hair seemed to like the Africa's Best Hair Mayo, so I might stick with that in the future. I'm only trying the ORS Hair Mayo because I won a jar of it at the Atlanta LHCF meeting in March. :)

Hit:

Africa's Best Kids Organics products - I tried the Kids Organics Hair Nutrition Protein Enriched Conditioner and the Shea Butter Detangling Moisturizing Hair Lotion on my SO's 10-year-old daughter's hair yesterday, and they worked great. She really liked the smell of the conditioner, too. I washed her hair with CON shampoo (red label), put the conditioner on her hair w/a plastic cap, and let that sit for about 30 minutes. I let her hair airdry (after adding the Hair Lotion) before putting it in ponytails. Her hair turned out very soft and detangling was a breeze. Thumbs up!

HIT!!!!!!!!!

-Microfiber towel for drying wash 'n go hair WITHOUT disturbing curl patten and causing frizziness!!!!!!! Just a couple scrunches with the towel, and I'm good to go. No more walking out the house with water drippies!!!

Hit: FX Texturizing Dirt. I'm about 7 weeks post and it made that new growth lay down beautifully. It's also on sale at walgreens buy one get one free.;)

Revisited hit:
-NTM Cream Lather Shampoo and NTM DDC: This was actually my first time using the shampoo. I've had both of these in one of my hair cabinets for some time now, and I just never got around to using them. I used them together today, and WOW...soft, smooth, great smelling hair. This may be my alternative to my NPO.

-White Rain Tropical Coconut Conditioner: WOW! V05 S&C has been kicked to the curb. I'll use up what I have left, but my new cheapie con is WRTC! It was AMAZING. It softened my hair on contact, and it detangles really well too. I prepooed with this overnight last night, and my hair was really soft and smooth upon rinsing this morning. This is definitely a keeper. Thanks Mona!!

Miss: Fermodyl 619...I don't know if I didn't use enough or what, but I just wasn't impressed. I definitely won't be repurchasing this. I like to keep my regimen as simple as possible anyway unless it's a product that's really worth having. Maybe I'll give it another shot next week.

Pending: TIGI Split End Mender: I got this at the LA meetup weekend before last. I like the consistency of it so we'll see how it performs over the next few weeks.

I really want to try this. I never have luck with cheapies so I woul dbe excited to find one I like. I am scared to stray away from my Mane N' Tail, but I am really itching to try this.

I may have to put this on this weeks grocery list. :) Lemme go look for the ingredients...

Edited to add :

Not bad if these are correct. Very simple. Is this right Mona?

Water Cetyl Alcohol Dicetyldimonium Chloride Phenoxyethanol Stearyl Alcohol Fragrance Stearamidopropyl Dimethylamine Ceteareth-20 Behenyl Alcohol Hydroxyethylcellulose Panthenol Citric Acid Fluoroquaternary.

I don't either!! My hair hates cheapies and prefers professional lines. I think that's part of the reason I'm so excited about this. S&C was about the best I had tried, and even that wasn't earth-shattering. I'm thoroughly impressed with this cheapie. If I ran up on hard times, I would use this as a staple.
