Married Ladies Random Thoughts

That Debbi book is kinda cray. One lady said that her husband was cheating on her. The authors advice was be in competition with the secretary. Smile more. Make him remember why he loved you in the first place. Beat her in her own game. Lol. Wtf.
 
Extremely fustrating when my husband make purchases out of our billing paying account and don't tell me until I am reconciling the account back to the budget. Sooo irked!! I told him a million times every dollar is accounted for so don't just go spending when you see money sitting in the account with out telling me so i can adjust the budget. I am so mad.

I used to hate this too. I opened a new account just for him so I don't get anymore surprises and he doesn't feel like he has to get my "permission" before each purchase.

The crazy thing is he has a separate bank account. When we talked about I found out he can't find the card to the other account so he was using the joint. I also have a card to his personal account so I'm like dude why didn't you just ask me for my card?! Grrrrrr

But I agree I don't want him to feel like he needs to ask permission to spend our money.

Just wanted to pop in to say I understand. That's very annoying. Even after you thought the problem was resolved, there it is again. I wouldn't go out of my way to help him feel like he doesn't have to ask permission either though.
 
My credit is good (mid 700s). DH is in the high 500s. Should I add him as an authorized user on one of my old cards to boost his credit up? I mean we really don't "need" anything requiring credit right now. I would just feel more comfortable if we both had decent credit. He paid off all debts. The onLy thing hurting him is he had a LOT of late payments. Should I just leave it alone?

Yes, leave it alone. Let him figure out how to get his own high credit rating. It has to be important to him to maintain it anyway. I just found out my rating is like 792 -- I was like :woot: then almost immediately wondered how I could get it to 800 :look:. I mean hopefully he will want to get it in the 600's.

Aight I'll let time handle the rest. Thank you! Congrats to you on that credit score! That's my goal! I want the 800s by the time I'm 31!
 
Students loans are not being nice to my credit score at all-- I think they are being added to my total debt, with my income (from internships so not full-time jobs w/ benefits) staying the same. DH and I will just have to sit on our hands for the next 3 years while we finish up our grad degrees lol

I just checked my score and it rose to 779! You must have blown some fairy dust my way!!!

I have been curious about what baby fever looks like on (married) men. Right now I think both DH and I are petrified of getting pregnant before we finish grad school. But I keep staring at babies and thinking about being pregnant. And recently, I mean like last week, DH kept making jokes about babies. Something he's never ever done.

Hell naw guh. Help him set up some auto payments.
 
@alex114 just a few examples from this week:
A few days ago:
Him: gonna give me some before you go to work
Me: no dear I'm late
Him: what your period late??? (Getting excited smh)
Me: no! Dang the time I'm running late for work

Today
He sends me random pregnancy announcements On IG
Me: Sir who are these folks??
Him: oh just stuff on my ig feed
Smh

And he says at least 1 or 2x a week, when you going to give me my son or when my son is here blah blah blah. It's always some baby centered conversation.

I can't even tell him I'm expecting my cycle in a few days because he will keep asking me if it came and saying it's not coming this month.

It's getting a little annoying now

Well I hope you guys can find and stay on one accord with your anticipation and excitement. It's crazy how fast something gets annoying when you feel like someone is repeating the same things over and over. :deadhorse::fishslap:
 
I really needed this summer to recharge. I feel a lot more level headed now that I've had my space for a few weeks. I'm more patient with DH and I really wish I could be like this year round. He's the exact same person he always is but I'm just in a better position to talk to him. I think the mental nature of my job gets to me. Any tips on remaining balanced?

Exactly lol. Plus I have to go to infertility Doctor sooo that just adds to the pressure

I had to learn to really leave work at work. And I'm still working on this- my first two years I could not.
Having someone else to gripe to about work
Working out right after work and before he comes home
Unplugging- no work comes home with me, no emails checked- none of that. I dont even look at work email until the week before school starts again- Not sorry about this either
Finding hobbies that do not related to education at all
Limiting exposure to overly negative teachers- I unfollowed the Black teacher group on fb for this reason

Blackened sushi is disgusting.
