Long-haired ladies: Get more attention?

For those ladies who always didn't have long hair, do you get more attention from men now than you did before? When you wear you hair out do it seem men pay more attention to you?

What about from women? Do you get more catty looks, or nothing has change?

Yes, I've noticed that since my hair has gotten longer and healthier, I get more attention from men. I don’t really notice the looks from women….perhaps because I really don’t care.:ohwell:

I haven't worn my hair out in a long time, but the last time I did I had fools asking me if my hair was real. When I said yes, then they asked for my phone number, as if I passed the test. I plan on wearing my hair it more once the weather becomes warmer, so I'll be bumping this thread.

The longest my hair ever got was APL, and no, i didn't get any more attention that usual.Oddly enough, i think i get more attention when i'm wearing braids. My mom said that i look good in them too.

Yes. I cant' believe it. I can't wait until it gets WL. lol

I had two ex's trying to get back in play this past Christmas because they think it's so sexy. lol

YES I have noticed it and sometimes the women are not even attractive.. I also have noticed it from women as well, women are more likely trying to see if it is weave, sew-in :ohwell:

Dang! Wish i could answer this question. :lachen: But i've never had long hair so I wouldn't know. The longest my hair has ever been is brushing shoulder length. but i will say i've gotten lots of compliments on my hair from men even w/it being short. Usually when it has that bouncy, full, shiny, straight from the salon look.

Yes and No.

I'll admit that many men around here are into long straight/wavy hair.

But I get hit on most when I am confident. I have a friend who wear a TWA, and has been wearing one for years, and she gets hit on just as much as the next girl. That's because she carries herself with confidence.

If long hair is what you are seeking, you surely will present yourself in a different manner as your hair gets longer and healthier. You'll finally feel "on-point", and we all know how great we feel when we are looking GOOD!

YES! My hair isn't long but it's a lot longer than I have had it in awhile. I've noticed that when I do wear my hair down I get MORE attention from SO and Lord don't get me started on the men at work. From my experience, men are hypnotized by hair. Esp. black men.

With men, I didn't really notice if I got more attention with longer hair or shorter. I get way more attention from women with my hair long.
