I'm a little pass APL, some strands even touchin BSL. Including some set backs that might happen... by March 2010, I should be MBL. I'll be satisfied with MBL.

I'm starting all over again with texlaxed hair this year so I'd say about 2.5 to 3 years now to get back to Full APL with fully texlaxed hair.

I started at sl a year ago and am close to bsl/bsb. I hope to get to mid back by December and on to wl by mid 2011. (A girl can dream can't she?)
Total time: 2 1/2 years (let's call it an even three, no pressure)

I started at NL in October 2008. I am working towards MBL by October 2011. So I am giving myself three years- a year to acheive each goal. So far, so good.

Your hair is soooo gorgeous Toy!

It took me about a 1.5 years to get from neck to apl.
I believe this to be a third of the distance to my hips so hopefully 3 more years with an extra year to compensate for a big fat blunt cut :):)

Feb 2011 I cut my hair from almost BSL to above APL. Today my hair measures in at about an inch past APL stretched. My goal is to be at MBL stretched in 1.5 yr but I'm giving a full 2 yrs as cushion in case I end up cutting for some reason.

it took me a 11 months to get to SL from a bald fade. it is going to take 9-10 months to get to APL. from APL to BSL i say 6-7 months.

Currently, I'm 1" past BSL stretched, and right past SL curly (abt 1-2" shy of APL). I was APL stretched Jan. 2011, and made BSL stretched 3 mos later (April '11). I give myself another full year (just to be safe) to be BSL curly, which is long MBL-WL stretched/straight. I have about 50-60% shrinkage. I think I will start to be satisfied w. my length when I'm at least HL.

My hair idol is CelinaStarr (JupiterMoonStar on Fotki). I hate that she is no longer updating but homegirl has some AWESOME hair! Plus her regimen is SUPER DUPER simple! Last I saw, she was "pants pockets length" on her blog, or what we call TBL. Our hair types are similar and I'd love to be her length in the next 2 years. :yep:

I'm working real hard and PS'ing abt 100% of the time. Pressing only once per year, if that (<- deathly afraid of heat damage). :look: I would just keel over if I lost my curls and waves permanently! Natural hair is the BEST thing that has ever happened to me aside from the birth of my daughter and being Saved! lol so serious abt that.

I'm just wondering what is the average amount of time for everyone who got to their utlimate goal lenght?

Did you trim, or just let your hair grow through until it got to ur goal lenght?

For example you started off SL, and your utlimate goal was MBL, how many years did it take, and did you trim you hair in between?

Please state your start lenght, and your utlimate goal lenght that you achieved

I'm still on that journey, but the last time I grew it out, I did trim, so it took probably twice as long as it should have. I started at SL and my first goal was BSL. I got there after two years. After that, I did get to MBL (briefly before a SHS hacked it off) in about 6 months, but was trimming in between. I was between APL/BSL when I started transitioning and now it's BSB/a little above BSL (stretched).
