I just did my big chop last week and Ive got a jungle of two inches on my head right now, I love it! I feel so much better starting over than holding on to damaged relaxed ends! and Ive just been inspired by pinkskates...Im stayng natural too!!!

Im trying to get an idea of how long it will take my natural 4b hair to get to APL at least...

So, how long did it take YOU to get to your current lenght?
what would attribute your growth to?

thanks

My hair is about neck length. I've only been natural a little over a year so I'd say it took a year. I hope to be full shoulder length by my 2nd Nappiversary.

It's been 19 months, and this is how long my hair is, starting from "bald".

hey I don't know if this will help since I'm relaxed now but it took me 14 months to get 2 1/2 inches from apl

It has taken me about 2.5 years to get to APL from when I first went natural. I think that my hair grows slowly...but hey slow and steady wins the race

Took me 15 Months. I stopped relaxing October of '06 and this is the natural hair that grew in. I haven't cut it yet, just a little trim
