He Doesn't Eat Out.

It could very well be cultural. However, I had men tell me upfront that they normally do not eat out but they wanted to wine and dine me. So that's what they did.

On another note, one man let me know if we were to marry the wining and dining out would be rare. However, he made up for it in other ways because he wanted me happy. I think he would have continued the dining out if I really told him that made me happy.

He doesn't have to eat when you two go out.

He could take you out, let you eat and he can drink water, cool aide or whatever. If eating out is something you like to do, he could at least meet you in the middle.

I think it's a cultural thing. My sister once dated a man from the DR Congo who also didn't like eating out, my sister had to reel him into it. He just didn't understand the concept of having food at home AND still going out to eat.

I think its cultural as well. He told me his daughter has been Americanized and likes to eat out. Thats what Americans do according to him. He seem to be looking down on that. He also seem like a cheapo. He mentioned his ex-girlfriend buying him jeans because she thought his jeans were old and faded. I asked what activities did they do. He said bowling occasionally. They mostly chilled at one of their house for the weekend renting movies and watching tv. I told him that I required more that that, like dining out periodically, and a night out listening to live music. He said that I sound like high maintenance. Lol

He's a loser. Don't waste any more time with that clown.

High maintenance? Really? It's not like you are expecting 5 course meals, private jets and diamonds on every date. You are just wanted to be treated like a lady...the prize! Next!!!

I recently met someone. While we were talking yesterday, I stopped and got Chinese takeout. He asked how often do I cook. I cook maybe twice a week. When I cook its enough for 2 or 3 days. Weekends I hardly ever cook. He says he can cook everything at home. I eat out weekly. Its just me and I treat myself. Well he informed me that he cooks every day and doesn't eat out. What he likes to do is ride his back on the trails and movies. He's Panamanian, but US born.

Ladies, can you date someone who doesn't take you out to dinner, but cooks for you instead and takes you to the movies sometimes? Is this a sign of being frugal or perhaps his culture?
I love to go out to eat! But if he wants to pay for groceries and cook different fab meals that I adore, I think I could handle it. I can always go out to dinner with my mom or friends. I got a brother I can go out to eat with.
