We are here to support one another and some of you chics give people's progress threads a one or two stars? Maybe I'm tripping up in here but I don't think so. Whats up with the haters on this hair board? Ain't no need to go there with the ratings. Got me over here smd head at almost 12:30 in the morning.
 
I know, I keep seeing that! I don't think it's anyone who actually posts, maybe a lurker. I hope so! That really sucks.:sad:

I don't like that dang star thing anyway. I've made some posts to try to help someone out from the goodness of my heart, lol, and it'll get like 3 stars. I always share things that work good for me with everyone here and to get "rated" on that is kinda wrong....I mean what's the point?
 
the rating on people's progress irks me... I think only products should be able to be rated.

I personally like to see each other's progress and giving folks 1 or 2 stars is like a slap in the face. We are here to support one another. Some people are here to get healthy hair and not really worrying about the length.
 
You know, I never pay attention to the rating until someone mentions it in the thread. I never rate threads anyway.

But one stars on progress reports is somewhat tacky...
 
I never pay attention to stars anyway. Besides, if you see a thread with 50+ replies and one star, you know its a hater. If the thread was so sorry no one would have replied to it in the first place.
 
wow, i've never noticed the rating stars till this thread. but i'm new, and I've been so busy trying to gather all this good hair info I don't even care about the stars.
 
Girl you ain't know you're the bomb once the one star bandit rates your thread? :lachen: I agree with the other ladies though. It's just dumb. Seems like my threads always get 1 star. :look: I never really looked at the ratings or rated threads until someone brought up the 1 star thing.
 
I never pay attention to the amount of "stars" a thread receives either. I just know any progress picture thread is always my absolute fav!! I love to see hair. I definately agree, some people hate because they don't know any other way to be. :look:
 
Are you talking about the rating at the top of the thread? I never knew you could rate a thread.....why on earth would anyone want to?:confused:
 
Gurl I never rate a thread until ya'll post a rating complaint thread. Guess what? I just rated this one a 1 star:lachen:! Chile who gives a hotdiddlydowaadiddly what the hell someone rates a thread or thinks about our individual progress? If they don't have guts to say what they are really thinking upfront they ain't about ish anyways. I have no problem with constructive nor unsolicited advice or criticism. In order to have a reflective moment that fool needs to tell you what they think honestly.

Just post what the helz you want and keep it moving. We all paid 5 measly dollars which gives each of us the right to post, rate, reply, laugh or whateva the helz we want to w/respect and consideration to others.

You know we are cool and I'm that fool that will say my truth.

I definitely cosign on this. Not only that but I think it's great that people are even willing to share their albums/progress, and for someone to diss them or give them a low rating is simply rude.

I've noticed this too! And it is really quite ridiculous that someone would put the time and energy in going around hating on a hair board of all places......really makes you wonder how the other aspects of their lives must be!? They must have a miserable life :perplexed .
Anyhoo, anytime I see a one-star rating....I'll rate it a 5 just to cancel out their simple ***. :grin:
 
Jealousy is a terrible thing. :(

I'm sure the one-star bandit is the same kind of person who goes around putting nasty comments in other people's fotkis.

I ignore the ratings.

My threads do too, I was suprised my BSL thread didn't get the one star.

It bothers me because why give a one star to a progress thread? What a way to make people feel bad.

You sho'll is cold :lol: And I know it's no big deal. But sitting up here at 12:30 in the morning tired as heck, waiting for "Cheaters" to come on and I saw it one to many times. It just irks me but yesterday it really got under my skin. Didn't mean to rant up in here and sometimes I don't filter things I say here like I should :perplexed

i agree - because an opinion is like a butthole - everyone has one.

I personally have rated 2 or 3 threads and when I did I gave 4 and 5 stars

You aint never lied! That is why I took my album off here because this mess is silly. I can keep track of my progress for myself...thanks!

I agree, I always try to put disclaimers at the end of some of my post because I don't want people getting offended and trying to argue with me.

I don't come here to argue with people, I come here to learn about hair and be a part of a supportive community.
