I have given much-deserved one stars to some threads.

There's a lot of pettiness on this board. I just gave one star that that stupid thread where someone is bashing people with thin, see-through ends who "think they're cute" WTF? That is so unnecessary.

It's just a thread to rag on people ...which would be fine if this were 7th grade, but it's not. erplexed

And I see people apparently voted that thread 4 or 5 stars (undeservingly) making a stuipid *** thread like that come in at 3 stars.

Now I agree, some one stars are mind-boggling. But then there are times when one star is deserved.

i hope they dont too!!! progress threads are gr8... they show our developments. its like a time of reportimg back to the group with picture evidance on what has worked/what hasent (style, product etc) i think this brings us all closer.

I don't see anything wrong with rating a thread, but progress threads should be exempted from being rated. To give a thread like those a one star rating is definitely mean-spirited. What a way to rain on someone's parade.

Who me? Everytime anybody calls me out I always scroll back through the thread to make sure there isn't another sareca. Yeah, I know. I got issues.

N-E-way, I've tried a thousand different products and techniques, but I think C&G and henna have contributed the most.

I agree. I will post come hail and high water. One stars seems to folow my threads, but i don't care, people pay their five bucks to get help and I don't want their money to go to waste.

I think it's just some people who are bitter. One star's tend to follow certain people on this board. I have no idea why, but maybe it's some internet "beef" that has someone riled up every time they see a certain poster start a thread (esp. if it's getting a lot of responses). It cracks me up b/c who has that much time to waste to "internet stalk". But this is just my theory.

I never really get the urge to rate threads. I've only ever rated a thread 1-star once I think. And other times I rate threads is if it's one of those situations in my theory of someone holding a grudge and giving it 1-star. I'll just rate it 5 and keep it moving. But even that I don't do anymore. I don't want to keep wasting time on the amount of stars someone gets like I'm still in kindergarten.

BUT the progress thread star thingy IS wrong. It's petty and childish. I didn't notice it until this thread. Maybe they can eliminate the star system altogether. Too much drama happens over these stars.
