Chubby ladies or skinny ladies that is the question???

I was just wondering do you think black men prefer chubby ladies or skinny ladies. I've been noticing a trend and it seems like the chubby ladies have it but IDK.

I'm slim, attractive 115 5'4, and I get my fair share of attention, buuuut it has been my experience that men prefer women who are more voluptrous. And I've only met one male in my life who said he would prefer a size Kelly over a size Beyonce. I might add that I'm in the south, and my aunt who is from Cali, always comments on the preference for slimmer women there, so maybe its geographic.

I don't know what they prefer but I've never had a problem with men running me down. When I was skinny, young and single and now that I'm a little older, fat and married they still chase me down.

Depends on someone's definition of chubby and skinny. I've seen women that categorized themselves as "thick" or "chubby" when they were in fact morbidly obese. I've also seen bony, unshapely women call themselves "curvy." Pretty much I don't know lol

However, I secretly think men go after chubby women because they think chubby women can cook because men are constantly asking me can I cook and can I cook them some food. Are skinny women being asked this because I don't recall.

I live in the south, men consider me skinny. I'm not by no stretch of the imagination but I have noticed that (and my brother included that) they prefer a woman that is thick. I go to to gym, they look at the skinny women but they prefer to go home to a chubby woman.

That may be true.

Varies per man and his desire at the time. I've met men who've always dated slim model types but feel deeply in love with a Monique type and vice versa. It depends on the chemistry really.

However, I think it's traditional and average to be attracted to a typical woman according to societal norms.

My mother ALWAYS told me that! SHe would say men like women who like themselves. Dh wants me to put on a bit of weight. I say I would but I think, he is not trying to loose weight and gain a six pack for me. Like someone mentioned before, we are tooooo caught up about what black men want. I'm a skinny gal and come to think of it...no man has asked me this. Truth be told, I'm not much of a cook but hey I still love to eat darn it!
