Just go in and change your preference. I used to have mine on the default at 18 to whatever. And believe me I was constantly getting hit on by the 20 year olds. I would be like dang he's fine and definitely a cutie, but I have a 27year old.

And they try to be so convincing about their level of maturity. But I'm sorry if you are wearing fronts and throwing up gang signs we are just not going to have much to talk about. I might haul off and tell him to go wash dishes or something.

I look at some of the girls that my 18 year old pulls and I'm like how old is she? These are 26 and 27 year old women. What could they possible see in that little bird chested tattoed up chile? But he's never without a date.

And I have to say of all the groups those still in their 30s are the most persistent. But I could never take one younger than that seriously. I tend to or well USE TO date those in the 35-40 group. That's where I pulled my current BF from. Yummy...absolutely.

I BEEN stopped the whole online dating thing. I too have stories for days. And like OP said. Its the same crazies that you meet on the streets. They just went high tech.

I have a sometimy SO but I always figured that if it was meant to be, God will send someone to me instead of me going online to seek it.

It's harder cause i dont get out much so there is no window of opportunity for men to seek me but whatever little window I have, i'm sure he'll send me someone.

My mother was like what the heck go back look the color of his body and look at his head here... it was too funny we had entertainment for the night. Why are the men there so corny.. *update* Ok met 2 dudes. One I was initially attracted to right off the bat, had everything physically I wanted but mayn we dont connect on any type of level. He thinks Im cute, I think he's cute, and thats about as far as it goes. The other guy we can stay on the phone forever and I was hesistant about him. First, I didnt respond to his notes, then he wore me down until I gave up and gave him my number hahahaha. I dont know wth happened but we just click. I've talked to him everyday since then a few times a day and we can be on the phone saying nothing for hours. So Im meeting him for dinner on Friday and hopefully we still click. Ahhh feels good to finally talk to someone that can hold a conversation about other stuff besides sex

I would also suggest IF you meet somebody online--to NOT spend hours and hours talking on the phone.

Thinking back to my last experiences the guys I met were natural at talking on the phone, both in different ways. I think that's why it's so dangerous, because you have these men (not all, but a vast majority) who spend hours and hours online talking to random women. They're learning what women want and they're molding themselves to be what they think you want.

Guy #1 was extremely well versed in all things political, cultural (pop) mostly, so he would gravitate to the creative type woman. Both were "book" smart, ie knew a lot about alot of things (most people who spend their time online reading tend to be).

Guy #2 was smart, but pretended to be humble. He would listen, and make insightful comments about everything (political, and more important religiously). He had studied religion and was well-traveled. His thing was to appear to be the shy, innocent good guy that most women pass up. His sad songs were the many women who had used him and not appreciated him (namely his ex wife and I'm assuming I'm in that equation now). Anyway, he would use that to get you to feel sorry for him and reel you in. . . .

Just be careful with the long conversations. You may be thinking you all are having great conversations, but he may just be gathering information to store and use later. That's what I learned from guy #2, when we conversed on the phone he was sweet/kind, unassming, but when we finally met and started "dating" he was cynical, condescending and dismissive, none of which he displayed while we were conversing.

Also be learly of men who send you ecards so quickly after meeting them. THAT'S A DEAD GIVEAWAY. He's got membership to all the free e-card sites b/c his ___ has been sending numerous cards to various women. Heck, let me just say this, be learly of anybody who sends you cards within a month (I got them from both very early on atmy job b/c I didn't give them my address), but the fact that they were resourcesful in finding my place of employment w/o me telling them exactly where and in what department I worked for should have be a tip as well...

Oh well, you live and you learn (not to date online--for me anyway).

Hmmm..now see I tend to do a lot of talking on the phone. And more importantly a lot of listening. I encourage them to send me random photos, only they have to be recent though.

This allows me to compare and contradict things said in the beginning vs. what they posted vs. what they are telling me now. Pictures taken in bathrooms in a hurry can have a wealth of information for what's really going on.

I had a guy tell me he was living on an army base and therefore could not call out after 7pm. So he finally decided to send me some "bedtime" pictures after his shower. Please tell me why in the background there are his and her robes?

How did he explain that, the pink one, it was another soldier's robe. But the black one was his. Give me a f'ing break. His initial conversations conflicted with his now more detailed conversations. Then he sent me some pictures by mistake of his daughter's birthday party.

Please tell me why one daughter was getting her hair combed in same damn army base bathroom?
