-Taliah Waajid Protective Mist Bodifier from the Black Earth product line
(It has a nice, sweet fragrance similar to coconut oil, it's a great
detangler and moisturizer, has some protein for strength, all natural
ingredients, and it's very lite so it doesn't weigh my hair down)


Hit/Miss:

- Fantasia IC Tea Tree Naturals Conditioner (Really soothed my scalp,
produces a wonderful tingling sensation, has a nice fragrance, but it
contains parabens so I won't make it a staple.)

*Elucence Moisture Balancing conditioner--this is now my staple. i was trying to use natural products but Elucence works so well. I could kick myself for waiting for so long to try it.....
*Toque Magico Emergencia (thanks to Anky's post )
*Qhemet Honeybush Hair gel--keeps hair soft all day, gives a nice soft hold
*Trader Joe's pure castile soap--rinses clean, no stripping

Misses:
*Miss Key 10n1--not really a miss, just didn't do anything special, Lustrasilk cholesterol does the same
*Avalon Organic Botanicals Nourishing conditioner--also does nothing special

Lenzi's Request- I have braids this month, but it has only been 2.5 weeks since I got may hair done and I have already measured 1 inch of growth in most places. I had to wait a while to get my shipment of this and I am a little hesitant about ordering again, but I have to admit I did get results.

Revive and Restore All-in-One Root Penetrating Oil mixed w/ rosemary oil- It gave me a slight tingle on my scalp and wasn't too heavy.

• Soft &Beautiful-Extend-A-Perm: Poo,Cond & Thermal leave-in (wow, who knew this would really straighten out my new growth after 10wks and leave my hair feeling soft and moisturized.) LOVE THIS STUFF!
• Castor & Jojoba oil combo.

MISSES:

• Pure unrefined coconut oil (left a slimy film on my hair)
• Nexxus: (The whole line was crap.)
• Aloe vera jell. (what a waste of money)
• Cond washes: (gave me to too much breakage.)

There's a whole lot more misses but I'm too upset to think about it right now.

VO5 Strawberries and Cream Moisture Milk-used on a dry head for a roller set and my curls came out so pretty, bouncy and soft.
*this is my only hit purchase for this month*

Misses: Moist Shampoo for Dry/Damage-used this more for my daughter, than for myself(jury still out for me) she has soft, thick hair that tends to be more on the dry side. This crap dried it even more! Thank the lord, i love the Aussie 3 minute miracle deep conditioner(this is a staple for me), which i had on hand. Brought her naturally beautiful hair back to life.

Jury still out: Nexxus Pep-R-Mint Shampoo-used this as a clarifying shampoo. I didnt get much lather, nor mint. But it did clarify. I was hoping for a little bit more moisture also. But it did clarify. It was cheap (found it at Rite Aid for under 6.00) But it did claify.
