My goodness I can't beleive I am the worst !!!! I felt secure posting it here because I thought I would have less than most of you. I know some of you are holding back because I have my stuff in two containers and some of yall have whole closets full. I also didn't include the Pibbs dryer, hand held dryer, and flexirods and regular rollers and 1 flatiron and 1 curling iron and 1 bottle of bleach. Okay now I am done.

Hey, Caress!

Girrrrrrrrrrrl, that is not just an inventory, but an entire store. Good grief, that's a lot of products for your hair. Where are you storing all of them? I am truly shocked.

I am also curious how you've enjoyed the Avalon Organics. I've used the Lavender, thought it was okay, but I really like the lemon verbena shampoo from EO products. I think their shampoos overall are a bit nicer. I have two Tisserand shampoo on my list to try for the fall: the 3-in-1 shampoo and the sandalwood & myrrh for dry hair. Tisserand is a part of the Avalon Organics group, mostly marketed in the UK. Their products are hard to come by in the US.

About the only thing I've bought lately is the Neutrogena Instant Shine Detangler. Two bottles on sale, $2.00 for each one. Thought I did so well. It's my new favorite leave-in because it detangles so well and leaves my hair so soft and shiny. I've still got quite a stock of Infusium 23 which I still like, but I'm glad I took a break from it.

Other than that, the bulk of my conditioners are St. Ives and Aubrey Organics. Nothing new.

Suggestion: I had no luck with that Redken All Soft Heavy Cream. See how your hair reacts. My hair doesn't care for Redken products. I've given up trying anything in that line.

Suggestion2: Just work your way through what you've got over time. Don't try everything within a short period so that you can truly evaluate results.

Much Love to you,

Jade

Hi Jade!
smile.gif
I actually have a small three drawer cart with wheels like this:
Sterilite_3_Drawer_Cart_3130_Housewares-resized200.jpg

I also have products on top of my dresser. I know it's a lot but like I said, I accumulated these products over a course of years.
ohwell.gif
LOL I do plan on narrowing down my products as soon as I'm done with all of what I currently own.

[ QUOTE ]
I am also curious how you've enjoyed the Avalon Organics.

[/ QUOTE ]
I like the two shampoos that I've used. They make my hair feel unlike any other shampoo has. My hair never feels stripped but has a smooth, squeaky clean feel. I can't say they make my hair feel extra soft like conditioning shampoos do but that's not a requirement. I have never seen the EO or Tisserand products though I've heard of them.

Thanks for your suggestions Jade. I do like all of the Redken products that I've tried and am considering that line as part of my regular routine. The jury is still out though. I like your 2nd suggestion. *Thinking of going to the local BSS tomorrow all in the name of research*

I've bought this stuff over several months. Funny thing is that when I added up all the receipts, it was just over $100 because I had picked up nearly everything on sale, while other things were given to me.
smile.gif

Caress, sorry I took so long to answer. (I'm trying to catch back on all the posts!) I didn't like the Herbal Essences Intensive Blends shampoo.
nono.gif
It left my hair feeling dry. I thought the conditioner was okay, but I used it after using another conditioner. I don't like the HE leave-in conditioner much b/c it makes my hair strands stick together when air-drying
perplexed.gif
. So now I just use it as a "hair perfume" when I wear my hair in a bun. I really do like the scent of these products, but I think other things work better to moisturize my hair.

From the looks of things it may be time for me to do another inventory of my products. I have actually used up a good amount of what was on my list and since then have only bought VO5 clarifying shampoo, a full size of Redken All Soft conditioner as opposed to the little sample I had, Kenra Intensive Emollient, and Porosity Control Conditoner. I also got a bunch of L'anza samples in the mail. I'm now noticing that I spend the majority of my money on conditioners.

caress, I have a sample of the Revlon Porosity Controm Condit. How do you use it? what are your results? I notice we have the same hair type. BTW...I spend ALL of my money on condits these days!

Okay, I'm totally bored and just thought I'd revive an old thread I missed out on, LOL...
