No hits this month:(

Two misses...Motions Moisture Plus. Did absolutely nothing to my hair. I tried it so many ways and nothing. [/B] I was this close to getting a big tub of this stuff just based on how it was raved over here. I'm POed because I really was expecting this to work for me.

You know, I think this one has a time and a place. I cannot use it all the time, because like it you - it does NOTHING for my hair. It is not really that moisturizing, but it is good at detangling which helps me after henna/cassia treatments (the reason I love it) and it leaves a bit of shine. That is about it. It is not moisturizing for me, as the container claims. I find that I don't use it often. Just as needed.

*Mo entering thread looking for Priestess...*

I just came back from Trader Joe's in Union Square in New York.....

They needed to have a bigger space!!!

The workers were nice, but I'll be dayum if the patrons shopping weren't funky as heyall!!! Geez Louisa and Jose'! Cussin, pushin and skippin on line and it was all congested....

Somehow in the midst of all that - cat food, toquitos, red sauce, almonds and Vitamin E oil got into my basket.:look: ....and most importantly....TJ's Nourish Spa poo and conditioner.

About to head to the Dominican spot to try them out. I got the poo because I'm trying to lessen the use of sulfates...and I need something for this stylist to use cause she be washin a head like three times....so I need something sulfate free with her behind...:ohwell:

*I can scratch this off my Priestess hair stalker list now*

*Carry on*

Didn't see this hit coming for me -

Hairdresser at the sink: "This is some nice shampoo..."

Pending hit:

Still assessing the Trader Joe Nourishing Spa Conditioner - I need to give it a go at home, in a non salon environment...using on my own.

Miss:

That Shakikikikai Powder - burns my eyes and lil bits all in the dome ain't workin for MonaLi....gonna leave that one alone...I tried though...:ohwell:

Yay, Mona Lisa, the pj sistahood continues!! :yay:

I love that set, the poo is great, heck rosemary oil is the 2nd ingriedient! The conditioner is yummy too. I had to use up some other stuff last week, but I'll be back to using this on the regular, that's my staple set right there! :yep:

HIT

Organics by Africa's Best Shea Butter Plus cream - Just tried it out of the blue the other day but I really liked it. Did a great job of softening my hair and bringing out its natural texture.

I am still on the fence about the poo... I used it yesterday after I washed the henna out and my hair felt stripped. I am going to use it on a regular wash day and report back.

It didn't even do that for me. However, I don't think that I clarified anytime while I was using this stuff so this may have been the culprit. Ohhhh I wanted this stuff to work so badly for me as I'm moisture-challenged.

It's gotta be a new product, well I at least I've never seen it before. I was in a bss the other day and I picked it up for the heck of it. I'm sure glad I did now. Sorry but I haven't been able to locate a picture.

When I ran out I didn't repurchase it either. :nono:

Olive Oil No-Lye relaxer. My hair likey. I was about to dish out 65+ to go to a salon for a touch up, but I remebered reading the horror salon stories and I thought, "I'm going to take a chance because either the stylist or me will mess it up so why not do it for cheaper?"

Well I didnt mess up,but I do know that a few areas in the back were missed because I was rushing. However the front came out nicely. Not bone straight at all. Yay!
